Dance recital

This year Blue and I are taking a Mommy and Me dance class. Last night was the recital and it was so much fun! I wasn't sure if she would dance, or get stage fright, or what. Heck, I wasn't even sure she would put on the costume since she refused to try it on at home (saying it was too tickly). But she did it all! She had to wear an undershirt, but after that we were golden. She was dying to go on stage. When we lined up in the hall and a group came off stage she was trying to go in the door and on the stage by herself. What's the opposite of stage fright?? Blueberry!

Click on this one to see the concentration tongue. It is hereditary. Love that little blurred tutu.

Yep. I am lovin this.

Grandma was holding Carli during the recital and said she was quiet as a church mouse during the whole thing until the curtain opened with us on stage and then she started talking and going crazy. They said she was looking straight at me and Blue and getting all excited. I love it!

And here it is- the full thing. Enjoy!

Clark or Mark?

Griswold that is.
Had quite a few neighbors comment on how great it is. Image
Yes. Yes it is great.

This might be a picture of phase 1. Now that we have a new breaker Mark has plans for more. I am thinking the "more" might have to come next year...

November

So here are some pictures from November besides some of those things I have already posted-

Image
Carli- She is loving cruising around holding onto furniture. She also actually keeps bows and headbands on her head! I am not used to this so I usually forget to put one on anyway...
Image
I love those little teeth in her grin! She even cruises just holding onto the wall now. I almost got trapped in the shower one time because she walked around to the shower door and was using it for support. If Blue hadn't been there to entice her to move I would have had to either wait or knock her over opening the door.
Image
We went to temple square with Mark's family to see the lights one day. I wanted to have a plan B just in case it was too cold in the stroller for Carli. Yep! She does fit!
Image
And she thought it was hilarious too!
Image
Our family with some of the lights. Mark was very interested in the specifics. I think he was getting ideas for our own light display?
Image
Gorgeous!
Image
While we were downtown we checked out the children's exhibit on the Book of Mormon at the Church History Museum. It was really cool!
Image
Blue loved the exhibit that let her try on the skirt and do the Latin American dances in front of the mirror
Image
I think Carli just liked being out of the cold :)
Image
Shortly after Thanksgiving Pickles came back to our house from the North Pole. Blue has loved finding him every morning, having (one-sided) conversations with him and showing him things every day
Image
We had to take our annual family pictures. The girls look so precious in their dresses!
Image
Look at my little ballerina!

Such a cute midget cricket!
Image
See! She really doesn't mind the headband!
Image
Enjoying reading our Christmas books
Image
And Carli, as usual, has a toy in her mouth.
Sorry Joseph. Baby Jesus didn't fit.
Image
When she can't have something in her mouth, she just sticks her tongue out. We got 6 month passes to Discovery Gateway and the girls love it!
Image
This is how Carli looked one afternoon waking up from naps. Looks like she is going to pounce. Her and Blue were just giggling away!
Image
Funny huh?
Image
I love the weekend mornings. We all pile in the "big bed" for some serious cuddling!
Image
Blue got her first haircut! When she sat in the car the girl asked me what I wanted done. Did I really have that many options???
I would have done it myself, but I didn't really have a large margin for mistakes...
Image
While waiting she couldn't take her eyes off the game for a picture
Image
Before.
Image
After. (Not a big difference, but I do feel like it looks a bit less scraggly?)

Image
Ah big sister, you are so funny!
Image
Snow one day- Blue was loving it!
Image
Carli wanted so desperately to join her too :(
Image
Loves her food
Image
Blanket ponytail AND hat. Thanks Grandma Sugar!
Image
Uh oh. She found the on/off button.
Image
LOVE those rosy cheeks. I will never tire of kissing all over them!
Image
Typical Blue- Wild and crazy
Image
But also sweet and tender
Image
Image
Carli untied her crib bumpers one day and pulled them way over to play with!
Image
Another day of snow
Image
Blue's favorite part was making tracks
Image
Lots of them
Image
Again with those kissable cheeks!
Image
I love the chomper grin too!

While I was packing away Halloween costumes Blue found hers from 2009 when she was a blueberry. Only her head fits now!
