We enjoyed a great Christmas light show this year with new LED's.  Awesome job Paul! Also built a snowman and went sledding with the family.

Brynn

Image
Brynn is here...and yes I am just posting and she is a month old.  I am really just taking in adding another babe but also realizing the difference of one vs. two.  I am glad the twins came first.  The twins came up to the hospital and brought flowers they had picked out..thanks Daddy!

Halloween is always a great time and we didn't do a family theme this year.  With Brynn and the kids love for Monsters Inc it turned out great.  We had  a great time at the Bult family party early in the month and then enjoyed trick or treating down one street until all kids felt the need to be carried.  I had to put my maternity pants to good use because no one wants to see me as a belly dancer 2 weeks post pardum...yikes!

Our little Sully and Mike.  The favorite saying at our house is the monsters are coming and Mike Wazowski!

Summer End

Image
We had a great time with the Judkins family in California.  We went to a wedding, were able to see new cousin Jeffrey, beach days, and Disneyland.  The kids loved seeing the characters and yet still got pretty scared of them close up.

Paul and boys from both sides of the family went on a camping man trip up in the Uintas.  Sounded like fun even though it rained a lot for them.  The kids loved our little swimming pool and figured out that they could spray each other with the giraffe head and thought that was pretty funny.

Livin it up in San Diego

Image

Image
Hello San Diego!  We enjoyed a fantastic week on the beach with the Pohlman family.  The 4 of us stopped into the Safari Park on the way in and loved the tram ride.  The twins are loving animals at this age so everything was awesome!  They were a little worried about how close the lions were, even though they were sleeping.

Sunday was a nice relaxing day where we visited the Mormon Battalion site, made up for some sleep, and visited the San Diego temple.  The twins and other cousins loved walking around the temple.
Image
Our first beach experience!  We are not quite sure about the waves.  The rest of the time we were content to be in the sand and having our older cousins get water for us.

Sea World was awesome!  Both kids got to touch sting rays, dolphins, see the shows and watch fireworks. Joslyn's favorite was Shamu and Judd liked the turtles.  Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for our great stuffed animals of our favorites!  Judd gives his turtles "noggins" and "hey dude!" chants.

We enjoyed seeing more animals at the San Diego Zoo.  Once again a favorite of Judd's was the big turtles, tigers, and raccoons?  Grandpa was a great sport and enjoyed with a bunch of the kids.  We also got to see the pandas!  It was a great zoo!

We are also thrilled to have another cousin: Jeffrey Judkins!  Congrats to Jordan and Allie.

Memories: Beyond and 10 years

ImageImage Well it has been quite some time since a post here and so naturally here are a few months in review.  The twins are growing by the minute and they will tell you all about it.  We enjoyed a nice Memorial Day visiting our heritage and posing for a pic with Grandma Gwen.

Getting Judd started early....he was very proud to be "helping" Dad mow the lawn.

We went to the zoo with some Pohlman cousins and the kids loved the elephants.  We are in for a fun summer of exploration and I love seeing their excitement in all things.
Image
Cousin Travis is getting ready to head off to Uruguay for an LDS mission and we couldn't be prouder.  Too bad Judd will lose his big buddy for a while, these 2 seem to have been buddies from the beginning.

Happy 10 year anniversary!  Paul and I embarked on an East Coast trip for an early ten year anniversary trip and it was awesome!  A big special thanks to all who took our kids for 10 days...it was quite the journey and everyone was amazing.  Thank you family!!
I had never been back east and remembered it so this was especially exciting.

We visited Jordan and Allie in New Hampshire and it was beautiful there.  She looks great almost ready to deliver later this month.  I just look a little large....half way there thought.  #3 due in October.

Philadelphia and the Liberty Bell and the tour of the place where it all was signed.  Also we got our classic Philly Cheese Steaks!

Valley Forge and Washington's house was awesome.  We also stopped by Gettysburg and Amish country for some home cookin.
Image
DC was great!  Our second day was all rain but we still got to see all the museums, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument (under construction), Arlington Cemetary, Iwo Jima, and so much more.  Besides being in the hotel with all the high school kids being super loud, it was a great stop!  Such a fun trip. Thanks babe for 10 awesome years!
