ProCodeCG Kids Regular Coding Class – 8 September 2018

Saturday is time to learn different things than what we learn at school 🙂

Sam is still working on his Plants vs Zombie remaking project in GameMaker 🙂 The game is quite complex, he has to think and work hard to make it work

This game requires lots of tricks and advanced techniques

Nadine wanted to learn some Scratch Programming to create Google logo 🙂

Nadine can modify each letter with codes

The variation is infinite 🙂

Nadine can add dialogue between the letters too 🙂

While Capt. Faris is still making API for an Android Apps to memorize Quran

And of course Fadhlan got loads of work to do with the robot. He has to prepare for the upcoming young scientist competition

Fadhlan has to add ultrasonic sensors and one power source to the robot

Engineers space of work is never neat 😀 Look at that hanging hot solder *Fadhlan kept yelling to warn people to stay away from it 😀

Vian decided to learn Python today. So we installed and update things so he can start to code in Python 😉

Vian said that he wants to learn some Machine Learning with Python 😀

Yogi is very serious game creator. He’s been working on this race car game, and he keeps making it better each week

He added details and more codes to it

Yogi pays attention to every details 🙂 The result is: amazing 🙂

Fathan is also developing a Plants vs Zombie in GameMaker

In our class we don’t do things for competition but to learn and have fun 🙂 No pressure unnecessary because life is hard enough! 😉

ProCodeCG Kids Homeschool Coding Class – 30 Aug 2018

Our regular homeschooling Tuesday class 🙂

and Kinan learned intro to computer science by learning python programming with CodeCombat 🙂

They had to go through levels and finish the challenge on each level

Each kid should take their time to finish each level on their own pace 🙂 The most important thing is they understand the basic and logics of programming 🙂

Next class we will be ready to create some games 🙂

ProCodeCG Kids Regular Coding Class – 25 August 2018

This is how we spend our Saturday morning 🙂

Kevin was ready to assembly his robot 🙂

Small bolts and nuts drive Kevin a bit nuts but he has to learn to deal with this 🙂 You can do it dude!

Sul had fixed his printer in Minecraft and ready to make another challenging creations

Sul discussed with Awa on what’s to do next 🙂

And then Sul decided to make a rocket 🙂

Capt. Awa was working on several things: GameMaker and Minecraft *seemed that he wanted to have a break from doing hardware things 😀

Awa is very good at designing structures with mechanical and electronics movement in Minecraft. This one is a prison that has sensors to activate the bars to close when someone is trying to get out

Awa had successfully improved his printer to be more precise 😉

now it prints the exact pattern 🙂

Awa was given another challenge: to create a running text and he made the prototype 🙂 Very impressive!

Capt. Faris continued his Machine Learning project by running some training on a cloud computing server service

Djalu have finished lots of levels of CodeCombat and learned lots of syntax in Python

Djalu solved lots of challenges in CodeCombat. This is good for enhancing his problem solving skill.

We had a newcomer: Faishal 🙂

Faishal is a 10th grader and can finish the tasks very quickly

Faishal, undoubtedly, is a very logic and focus thinker

Next time Faishal will be given more challenges before move on to the next subject

Yogi came with lots of progress: He made a really cool background for his game, and he wrote lots of lines of code to make the object moves smoothly

Fathan was given a new project: to create a Plants vs Zombie game with GameMaker, which he accepted right away 😀

Fathan had created most of the sprites and the object, and also the room! This is exciting 🙂

ProCodeCG – BDV – Machine Learning with Python Workshop – Session #3 & #4 – 15 Aug 2018

Today we’re ready to do some real object detection with TensorFlow 😉

It took us hours and great effort to do installations and debugging etc but we finally made it 😉

We learned how to do object detection using our own data, using a pre-trained model of course 😉

This is the results 😉

The system can detect and count the objects 🙂

Surprised that there are so much staying with us until the end of the class. Thanks for joining the class 🙂

Kids are still busy preparing for the exhibition 😉

Edo’s partner didn’t come today but Edo tried his very best to make progress 🙂

Nadine was still figuring out which one to present on the exhibition: Python programming, Arduino programming or website programming 😀

Nadine finally decided to create a calculator in Python

Djalu is our newcomer 🙂 Welcome to the club 🙂

Djalu learned basic programming with CodeCombat

Capt. Faris seemed to be very confident about his presentation 🙂

Kevin is making progress each week. He soon will be ready to start his robotic project 😉

ProCodeCG – BDV – Machine Learning with Python Workshop – Session #1 & #2 – 13 Aug 2018

ProCodeCG Machine Learning with Python Workshop has been started today 🙂 We compressed two sessions into one day, and the other two on the next Wednesday

Our exhibition preparation continues 🙂

We had some visitors, a few kids came but didn’t bring laptops so the kids and the mom were just observing

Kinan is creating a game in GameMaker for the exhibition 🙂

Fadhlan! Being optimistic about the exhibition and that’s really good 😉 We had problem in installing stuff to make his ESPectro up and running and luckily we can finish it at the end of the class. Next session we have to check up on the robot and make it move 😉

Yogy is feeling happy about the progress he’s made in GameMaker. Now he’s trying GameMaker Studio 🙂

Vian is also preparing for the exhibition. He has like hundreds of projects and now he has trouble picking up one of them 😀 😀 😀

ProCodeCG Kids Regular Coding Class – 28 July 2018

We started preparing ourselves for our annual ProCodeCG Kids Exhibition 2018 🙂

Sam already knew what to present for the exhibition

Sam has been developing games in GameMaker for weeks

He becomes so good at it, and keep enhancing his techniques by watching lots of tutorials and practice them

Sam is very detail about everything, including about the sprites

Look at the list of sprites and objects Sam has in this game

this smooth and sleek game is what Sam will present on the exhibition 😉

Sulaiman learned new things about Redstone in Minecraft today 🙂

And then Sul created several kind of automatic doors 🙂 Cool 🙂

Capt. Awa brought all the gears for exhibition preparation

Capt. Awa was having problem with power distribution because those two motors consumed lots of power

The problem was the power was not enough so it wasn’t distributed evenly. Only one motor worked

We got a newcomer, Salman

Salman is Edo’s friend 🙂

Edo and Salman will collaborate to create a website to be presented on the exhibition

These guys had learned HTML today, now they are ready to add real contents to the website. Next thing is to design and make it interactive using CSS and JavaScript 😉

Nadine learned to code in Python very quickly

Nadine learned looping, conditionals and functions today. She created a code to print lots of string or number, a code to check whether a number is odd or even, a code to enter username and password, a code to create a simple calculator an many more 🙂

Vian created a very sophisticated library that has walls that can slides automatically. He’s an expert in Redstone and command block! 🙂

Yogi hasn’t been asked to join the exhibition because we want to let him explore things for a while 🙂

ProCodeCG Kids Coding Camp – Python Programming – Day #3

The last day of Kids Python Programming Coding Camp 🙂

Veyzha actually learned two things today: Python programming and GameMaker 😀 Veyzha had successfully made a simple calculator GUI in Python and then helped Kenzie to do the same thing 🙂

Kenzie finished the task to create a simple calculator with GUI and explore simple artificial intelligence in Python 😉

Vius had completed lots of difficult challenges. Including creating a pizza restaurant form that can calculate the price and the discount for different kind of pizzas and different kind of toppings for each kind of pizzas 😀

Ren finished task very quickly today 🙂 He went through encryption, decryption, virus, antivirus and encryption-decryption virus then simple artificial intelligence 😀

Ren helped Veyzha to debug the program 😉

Capt. Faris created his own applicable app with Android Studio 😀 Awesome 🙂

Our incredible Python Programmers 😉 Veyzha had to leave earlier so there were only 3 of them at the end of the class 🙂

Glad to be able to produce another class of Python Programmers! See you again kids, now you have the skills most people want so bad 🙂

ProCodeCG Kids Coding Camp – Python Programming – Day #2

Kenzie was busy exploring turtle in Python to see what can be done by changing the iteration, movement and angle 😀

Vius was given a task to create a GUI for calculator

Veyzha got lists of work to do: displaying numbers from 1 – 100 ascending and descending, displaying even and odd numbers, calculating powers, etc 😉

Ren (how come we didn’t take his pic today? :((( ) Ren had finished most of the tasks today 😉 Including, calculating powers, factorial, creating a simple calculator GUI 🙂 well done!
