The DAO hacked again, but this time it’s the good guys

After last week’s news that leftover funds from The DAO would go to Ethereum security, a further 50 ETH has been rescued.

Crypto hackers target Hinge and Match Group in data leak

Crypto hacking group ShinyHunters claims to have leaked 10M records from various dating apps owned by Tinder’s parent company, Match Group.

Of a total of $17 million stolen from victim addresses, $3 million in USDC is yet to be frozen by issuer Circle.

French crypto tax firm Waltio is being extorted by hacking group ShinyHunters, which is threatening to leak the data of almost 50K users.

The root cause behind the hack remains unclear. Around $6M in ETH and $850K of YieldFi assets sit in the hacker’s ETH address.
