The weather is awesome today! This gorgeous day started a bit off though. Daddy has a serious case of the jealous... he says mommy sleeps cuddling me and not him. That's right. We cuddle. My father needs to accept the fact that the day he allowed a pug in bed, he lost his space.

Rising career

Buenos días amigos!
My position as a nurse was terminated thanks to the perfectly working immune system of my patient. In a little over two hours she was up and running!
I loved working and being able to provide my family with endless possibilities to take cute pug pictures. I decided to try a new exciting career, toddler clothing modeling! The best part? I can keep those garments that fit best! (if only I could find boyish ones...)

Today I work a very long shift as a pug nurse. My patient has a tummy ache and needs my care to feel better.

Happy Halloween! I am still here. I haven't blogged in a long time, I know. I apologize and I promise to come back more often!

A year and a day ago...

mommy, daddy, sister and grandma drove two hours to pick me up at the animal clinic where I was staying. I needed a foster home, and mommy needed the love of a pug. The human's one and only concern was how I would be with their human child - how sweet, and patient, and loving I would be... mommy prayed that I wouldn't growl or bite. Her prayers were heard, and as soon as we parked the car back home two hours later, daddy said "he already adopted us!" (* Editor's note: mother is the dog person, daddy is NOT!)
So, here we are, a year and a day later -sorry I didn't post timely yesterday. We went out to buy toys for me, my sister sung happy birthday, and at 7:00 PM sharp, I jumped to the couch and kissed my mommy with true love. She said I know more about celebrating anniversaries than daddy does!

I am back, amigos

Hello all,
We were on vacation for a few days, and now we're back to our routine - I am bird and squirrel watching right now, mom pug watching because I tend to dig to visit the neighbors underneath the old fence. But no worries! New fence with tension wire coming up soon! Thank you mommy for taking care of me (and making my life more boring).

I met new local friends!

Mother finally decided to venture to our local dog park. It has a big lake where dogs swim. Human sister loves the water, so much she jumps in whenever there's a body of water. That's why we didn't venture there before. It seems like at four, sister finally has the maturity to not want to jump in a dirty body of water along with Labradors and Dobermans. It also seems like at forty, mom finally has the maturity to want to visit new exciting places. We'll be back soon, park friends!

Paper Toileting. My secret? Practice, practice, practice. One day, you will be able to pull the toilet paper across rooms, doors, wall corners and furniture, keeping it intact as well.

Famous and poor

Oh my pugness, seems like it's been forever since the last time I posted on my blog! I'm still here and I'm eager to write more often, but I've been spending most of my time pondering how it could be possible to be so famous yet so poor. I see myself EVERYWHERE, but I don't get anything in return except for 2/3 cup of kibble a day plus unlimited hugs, kisses and cuddles. Mom says I get what is most precious in life and her dream is that my human sister and I appreciate it as well.

To my daddy

The man that allows me to sleep in bed with the family, the man whose heart I won with my sweet temperament and the craziness and happiness I bring to the whole family, specially his wife. Thank you daddy for opening your home and heart to me. I love you.

Hola amigos!

As all of you know, I am an indoors pup. I smell delicious, I am well behaved, and mommy finally was able to potty train me, by asking me to stand by the door when I needed to do pee pee or poo poo. I am no dumb. I am the most perfect dog. Except, I chew on floor boards and blinds, and toys and furniture. Still, I am so perfect, I am the very first dog that daddy has ever allowed in bed.

The problem now, is that mommy can't even imagine what she will do with me if the humans ever go out of town to visit relatives. She used to board Angel Coco at the vet, because he was sick and could need care. He was used to them, for years, and he liked to sleep by himself. I, on the other hand, snuggle with mommy and sister all night long. 

What to do? What to do?

Long days, long nights

A young and healthy pug can only run and play so much,

 

when a frisky kid has cleary have not had enough.

"A master plan is what we need", my senior best friend recommends.

 

 





"This place could have a spooky past; I bet she'd be scared".



 

We spread the story of a long lost soul, an outdoors loving ghost.

 

 

 We rapidly took shelter and planned to rest.

 

After a quick snack, it was time to go to bed.

 

Little girl laid restless in bed, and we felt bad.

A nightmare was definitely not in our plans, so we asked.

"I can't sleep, I can't wait...

 to meet my outdoor loving new friend tonight!", she replied.

 



Run away

There's been rumors about a mother and her daughter getting to work and school late respectively due to a certain creature who likes to sun-bathe for hours, to then run when called or approached to get into the house.

The Pug Picnic

Last Sunday we attended the annual Pug Picnic, with our friend Jaxson. I was hoping to find more pictures on daddy's camera but this has been a crazy week, and this is all I have for now. I swear there were dozens of pugs besides us!
