Changing so QUICK

It is so crazy how fast little ones grow and change. Maycee has changed so much just within the last couple of months. I look back at pictures and it just amazes me how much she has changed. Alot of these pictures are random, but I had to post them because I think she is such a cutie!

Maycee's Special Day

What a special moment Maycee and Billy had together. I am so lucky that Maycee has such a wonderful dad who was able to give her such a special blessing. This was our first time back to church since Maycee joined our family and I must say, she did pretty good. We had so much love and support from our family. We couldn't ask for better family and friends.

Image Image Maycee's great grandma Jorgensen crocheted her blessing dress. She did such an amazing job. It makes this dress even more special to us :) THANKS GRANDMA!!

Maycee was able to share her special day with her little buddy (cousin) Bentley. We were able to leave our ward early to head to their church at 11. What a wonderful day we had with friends and family!!! We love them all!

Image It is very hard to get two little ones to look at the camera at the same time.....

Maycee has been such a blessing to our family. She has taught me so much about life. It is so amazing to me how such a little thing can bring so much joy and happiness into your every day life. I LOVE YOU MAYCEE!

Hawaii is AMAZING! It is so beautiful. Our family was able to go and enjoy a week in Hawaii the end of May. The plane ride was L-O-N-G but completely worth it. I have a tone of pictures, but am only posting a few......

Such a neat experience

These last few months have come and gone so quick! Not a whole lot has changed ........ Billy and I were able to have such a neat experience. On November 20th, 2010, Billy and I took our endowments out. What an amazing experience that was. You know, growing up in the church we learn alot about the temple. I thought I knew exactly what to expect......I honestly had NO clue! I have so much to learn. I thought I knew pretty much everything I needed to know....I can't even begin to describe the experience. It was absolutely AMAZING! A week later, Billy and I were sealed for time and all eternity. I am so glad that we were able to help each other get to where we are today. I can not even imagine what life would be without the knowlege we have of the gospel.

I have so many people in my life who have been such great examples to me. I am not going to individually name each one, but I hope you know who you are. I do want to say THANK YOU to my parents. What amazing people they are! They have taught me so much by their examples. There is one thing that my dad use to tell me alot " Your action speak louder than your words." Yep, I am agreeing with that. Thank you mom n' dad for being the wonderful people you are. Love you two!!

As for our two boys, Buc and Max, they are still very energetic! Buc hansn't really changed much, but Max has grown soooo much! He doesn't know for sure what color he wants to be..... His coat is starting to change to a lighter brown/tan color (in some spots) Max is now 9 months old and totally acts like a puppy..... We do have to kennel the little stinker because he can never remember to keep his paws off of things when we are gone..... He absolutely loves to make a mess of the house.... We have had a few surprises when we get home..... Hopefully that is something he will grow out of.

Ever since Ace's accident, I couldn't decide if I wanted to get another dog now or wait. I was having a hard time getting another dog so close to Ace's accident. I kept having that feeling that I was trying to replace Ace. That was very hard for me to do. I really had to think about it because I felt so bad for Buc having to stay home all by himself while Billy & I were at work during the day. I was also very nervous of how Buc would react to another dog in the house.
About a week before my birthday, Billy came home and said that he saw some cute puppies at Peaches. I looked at him and said " Oh really" and left the conversation at that. I didn't encourage him to go any further with it.... I started thinking more about another dog and decided to go and look at those puppies myself. I told Billy that I wanted to go and see those puppies.... We went and looked at them and yes, they were cute. I asked them if I could hold one and so they brought one of the puppies out to us. I didn't really fall in love with the puppy while we were playing with him. I really thought about it, and decided to wait.
On September 26, my birthday, All I wanted was for Billy to take me out and show me where my Ace was burried. After church, Billy asked me if I was ready to go.... I looked at him and said " Yeah, I think I am" I knew I was going to have a hard time with this.... I grabbed my purse and my package of Kleenex's and off we went. We finally arrived to the place and I felt so good. We had our moment of emotions, but at the end, I felt so much better. I am so glad that we took that time to make our closing with Ace.
On Monday, I told Billy that I was going to Peaches one more time to see if the puppy was still there. I also told Billy that I was probably going to make a stop at the Pound. Before I had the chance to go to Peaches or the Pound, Billy sent me a picture text of a dog that he saw at the Pound. I hurried and called Billy to see what the heck......
Long story short, we ended up rescueing a black lab that we now call Max from the Pound.
After having our closure with Ace, I felt like getting this new friend for Buc was a good thing to do....
Max has been alot of fun. He is such a spaztastic dog. He loves to jump around..... like he has springs or something :) I have never had to potty trane a dog before, and let me tell you...... WOW, patience!! Max has really tested my patience! He is so lucky he is so dang cute! I am so glad this little guy stole my heart when I saw him!
p.s. There is no replacing, just adding to ..xoxo..
