In this episode, we discuss the importance of educating young people on how to participate in a democracy, and why it is essential that their voices are being used to be heard. While Curren works for the Oklahoma chapter of Generation Citizen, she is adamant about their work in civics showing results on a more universal scale. She expressed her desire for Oklahoma to be a hub for conferences where teachers can come for social studies professional development.
