Well, sadly, the cancer is back. I've waited three weeks to do this post, because we needed more information. And, we have it. The cancer is back, but we aren't planning a June funeral as my mom and I both determined would happen! We are sooo optimistic, aren't we?! Rather than a funeral, she gets to come out next week and celebrate Kedzie and Ethan's birthday's and start chemo, rather than radiation, on the 15th. It's all a huge blessing. Although, we'd all hoped for a longer period of remission, we are grateful for the fact that cancer hasn't riddled her body in the last four months. We are eager to plan another family vacation with her and to enjoy what time we do have left.
We love Grandma Mary! We are grateful for her testimony of faith, her great spirit, her playful personality, her laugh and smile. She's a wonderful grandma and we are glad to have her around for a little while longer!

Christmas break 2010
Our Christmas break was oh so fun. And, Christmas was the best. My mom was here for a week. Travis had three - four day work weeks in a row. We saw movies, went sledding, ate a lot of food and played with all our fun toys. And now, it's back to school! We're all excited about that.
Kedzie the diva on Christmas eve.
Ethan's favorite present was a bag of lemons to make "lemon juice," his favorite. Boy, Santa is good!
The Christmas, family photo! Aren't we so cute?!
What did Alex do on Christmas morning you ask? He played basketball! He didn't open one single present. Not one. He just played with his trusty ball and hoop. What a kid.
Santa brought sleds for the kids! Unfortunately, there was no snow. So, Travis and I ended up pulling the kids around on our dry grass. As you can tell by the smiling faces, they had a lot of fun!
The annual Christmas tea party with Grandma Mary is expanding. There were eight kids present, three of which were two and under! And, hot chocolate was the beverage of choice this year!
Finally, it snowed! We had a white new year! And, we got to use the sleds on the real stuff!
It was cold and so much fun!
Here's to a happy 2011!
