Mom said she and Bob were going to get dressed up and asked if I would bring my camera to take pictures of her and Bob. I thought what a great idea, and made Bert dress up again. He didn't want to but I think if you go to a theatre show it gives you an excuse to dress up.

All Dressed Up, A Christmas Carol
We finally made it to one of Abby's plays. She is currently performing in A Christmas Carol at the Herberger Theatre. I was really excited to go and see Abby in action and to support her in what she does. Plus I love the story, it is probably one of my favorites.
Gingerbread House
Okay, so this year I decided I wanted to make (decorate) a Gingerbread house. Bert bought me one of the kits and we started putting it together. I honestly have to say I had no idea how much effort went into this.
We started by making the frosting and it has to be thick and sticky to hold the pieces together then it says you have to wait like 3 hours for the frosting to dry before continuing on. By this time I was done with the project. Bert went ahead and frosted the roof without me, then it sat on our counter for about a week.
Finally when we had Paul Saturday night he and Bert began working on it again. Bert went ahead and made snow hang over the roof. As you can tell he used a lot of icing for this! I finally realized that they were working on the house so I decided to come help. I made the door, and Bert did the windows, as the frosting was really thick and he has stronger hands. Either way he did most of the work and I just helped place the candy. Paul disappeared and came back at the end to assist with placing the candy. I think all in all it came out pretty cute.

The Last of the Pictures
Well these are all the really cute pictures from our trip I have a couple cute video's however they just won't load, well it takes too long I tried and it timed out! Either way enjoy!

Montana
Mom and I were lucky enough to fly to Montana to see the Weston Family. The girls are just growing up so fast I cannot believe it. They don't even look like the little babies they were any more. Below are pictures of them, they are just so stinking cute.

Audrey is the one with the hat on, Zoie is climbing on mom, and Madison is talking thru the paper towel roll.
Here the girls were playing with their Mega Blocks, and I didn't want to pick them up so I told them they couldn't dump them out. Well that was fine however Madison wanted to get into the bucket and I knew they would dump over so as she was lifting her leg I said "No Madison we aren't going to do that." So she settled her leg on the table as if that wasn't what she was going to do. It was too funny, she just kept watching me to see if I would look away!
Madison had bitten Zoie on the arm because she wanted what Zoie had so she was placed in time out. This is the I am sorry picture! Too cute!

The girls playing with their Mega Blocks, this could actually have been just before Madison bit Zoie.
Madison giving her bunny a ride on the horse!
Zoie getting on her horse. This horse is really cute it rolls or you can flip the wheels up and it rocks. There are also sounds if you press on the horses ears, and the mouth moves they really like that and will stick their hands (Fingers) in its mouth.
Well Bert is rushing me out of the house so I will have to post more pictures later! Enjoy!

Thanksgiving
Well I didn't even think to post pictures from Thanksgiving but here they are. I was really excited to have it at my house this year. I am thankful that my family was able to attend and wish the rest was here. Below are the pictures I took unfortunately they are the only pictures I took and I wish I got a picture of the Turkey oh well perhaps next time!

Watching the football game playing with Bert's Marshmellow gun!
Everyone just hanging out talking
The dogs hoping for a hand out, they didn't get one of course!
Either way I have a ton of pictures of the girls I can post. Hopefully within the next couple of days. Mom and I were there for a couple of days and she just goes crazy taking pictures!
Love,
Carrie

Disneyland (October 2009)
We recently took Paul to Disneyland just the three of us. We were there for 3 days which is the perfect amount of time for my feet! Anyways we had a great time below are some of the pictures.
Waiting in line for the Haunted mansion the first time.

All these are from the Pirate's Island which used to be Tom Sawyer's Island. Paul really enjoyed it, there are a ton of caves to run through and it was really easy to lose track of him. This is a kids paradise, he probably would have stayed over there all day had we let him. In the end though he wasn't listening so we had to leave, and didn't go back!

On top of clovers - Alice in Wonderland

As you can see above we rented a scooter for Bert as he had just hurt it a week earlier so he couldn't walk or stand for long distances. This was really nice to use on the rides as it allows you to pretty much get right on the rides without waiting in line forever.

Paul's booty! Arr!
Day 2 @ Disneyland
Finding Nemo is one of the newest rides and there is no Fast Pass available so we did that first thing on Friday. We waited in line for about 15 minutes compared to the average 45 minutes!

This would have been a really good picture if Paul's eyes were open!
Waiting in line for Alice in Wonderland, I think we only went on this the one time.

For Halloween thru Christmas they decorate the Haunted Mansion themed as the Nightmare Before Christmas, with Jack Skeleton. This was Paul's second favorite ride. I think we went on this an equal number of times as Thunder Railroad.

Mickey's Toon Town. There isn't really much to do there, there are a couple of rides but mostly it is a large playground for the kids. Plus Mickey and Minnie are almost always at their house so you can get autographs and pictures. Since we did that last time, we were only there to play.

As you can see above we rented a scooter for Bert as he had just hurt it a week earlier so he couldn't walk or stand for long distances. This was really nice to use on the rides as it allows you to pretty much get right on the rides without waiting in line forever.

These pictures are from Roger Rabbit's Wild ride, he was trying to steer up until this point when there was a lot of noise then all he was doing was covering his ears.

This was just after we bought Paul Mickey ears. You can now design your own ears and that is what he did. He picked every part out himself, and he got a TON of compliments on it. I don't know what his fascination is with gold but that is what he wanted. Pretty cute!
These are rides in the Bugs Life area of California adventure, he really likes them. The bumper cars go like 2 mph I mean like snail speed he enjoys it anyways.
We tried something new this year, that I have never done before. We took Paul to Mickey's Trick or Treat party. You can dress up, and you go around the park getting candy. The rides are also open at this time. Since it is a special engagement, meaning you have to buy an additional ticket on top of the daily there aren't as many people. Mostly we were able to walk onto the rides. I totally recommend this for anyone in the future!

Last Day @ Disneyland!
This is while waiting in line for Peter Pan's Flight, I think this is one of the best pictures with him and his ears!
Thunder Railroad Paul's FAVORITE ride. Probably because it is a train roller coaster! I think we went on this ride at least 7 times within the 3 days we were there!
