For those of you who aren't familiar with Disneyland this is Sleeping Beauty's castle. Bert and I tried to take a self portrait with it in the background but we didn't do a very good job and didn't end up with any good pictures, but this of the castle!
We had this picture taken because I thought Paul would be really excited that he will be able to have is picture taken with Lightning McQueen, and Mater. When I got home I had told him the exciting news and rather than acting like a normal 5 year old and just getting excited he grilled me about them.
I told him I got my picture taken with Lightning McQueen and Mater, he said "were they real?" I said "well yes they were real full size cars." He said "they drive around like real cars?" I said "I don't know if they drive around they were just waiting there for everyone to have their picture taken." He said "Well were they real or were they just costumes?" It kept going on like this, and finally he said "Well if they are real did they talk to you?" I said "No they didn't talk they were just there smiling and looking around." At this point he came to the conclusion that since they didn't talk they weren't real. He is so funny, he is always so logical he doesn't just take your word for it. Plus like any child he loves to argue!
This was taken outside the Tower of Terror which is probably my favorite ride. I can't give you much information because mom and Liane haven't been on it and I don't want to give it away, just know this is my favorite ride.
This is what it looks like, like always Disney did an awesome job making it look real!
Another photo opp I though Paul would like, plus I love Wall-E so I had to get my picture taken with him.
This is the R in California which stands in front of California Adventure, the new theme park across from Disneyland.
Vivian thought we should go on Splash Mountain after the sun went down which of course worked out ok because there weren't many people waiting plus we had our fast pass. Poor Bert though he was sitting in the very front and although he didn't get soaked when we were dropped down, he got it just after. According to him after we dropped and splashed into the water, the back splash came up of the side of the canal and soaked him. No one else really got wet, my leg had gotten a little wet but nothing like Bert.
