Wildlife World Zoo

We decided it would be fun to take Hayley and Paul to the Zoo. This time we went to the Wildlife World Zoo instead of the Phoenix Zoo. It is really nice as it is on the edge of town and offers a little more than the Phoenix Zoo, including awesome Aquarium centers.

This was taken upon arrival, and I think is one of the best "smiling" pictures of Hayley I have to date! This was taken for Aunt Stephanie!

 Hayley, Paul, and I standing in front of one of the larger tanks full of sharks. Of course immediately after the picture was taken a shark decided to swim right behind us. Hayley is enjoying the swimming fish instead of looking at the camera.

 This would have been a great photo if Hayley's eye's were not yellow, although I still like it and decided to include it in my post.

There is an awesome playground at the zoo and Paul and Hayley would have spent the entire time there if we had let them. Although it is fun and they enjoy playing I didn't pay a lot of money to get into the zoo for them to play on the playground.

As part of their petting zoo attraction they allow you to interact with giant turtles. Hayley wasn't exactly thrilled but surprisingly wasn't afraid of them.

After we left the zoo we decided to eat at the closest place possible which turned out to be a Burger King. After lunch we faced the long ride home (30 minutes LOL), and Hayley of course fell asleep.

School is going good I have 6 more weeks until I am on summer vacation. I am really looking forward to summer as it will be my last hur-rah before having to return to full time work etc. Hope everyone is doing good love and miss you all.

2013

I know it has been forever since I have posted anything on here, really I just figured no one cares but thought I would just post a couple pictures of Hayley. 

We haven't really been taking pictures as we haven't really done anything since I started school in August of 2012. I just recently finished my pediatric rotation and am getting ready to begin the OB rotation. I am extremely excited about this term as I am interested in working in postpartum. I am officially halfway thru my nursing program which is extremely exciting. Either way there is just way to much to try and catch up on so I thought I would upload some of my favorite old photos along with recent photos. 

This photo was taken around December 1, 2012. This was/is one of my favorite outfits on her. This was  also one of my first attempts at doing her hair.

 This photo was taken a couple of days after Christmas. Paul was playing his Skylander's video game and Hayley decided she wanted to sit in his lap!

 For those of you who don't know this is mom's (and ours I guess) new dog Gabby! She is a Yorkshire Terrier and she is absolutely adorable! I do believe am her favorite but I can only come to that conclusion based on the fact that she always wants to sit with me and wants my attention. I cannot figure out if its because I am home more often then mom or because she is competing for my affection over Lucy! Either way she is a doll and terror in one!

 I believe this was another photo taken in December. This is an outfit Nana purchased for Hayley and I love it!

 The above photos were taken at the zoo. Although this was technically her 2nd trip this was the first time she showed interest in the animals and I think she really enjoyed the time there.

These are photos I posted on Facebook so most of you would have seen them however I just thought they are so adorable I may as well post them here as well. They were taken in February!

These are also from February. The weather here in Phoenix is beginning to warm so I had to get one more sweater day in before it turns to hot. She likes to rock her sunglasses. She doesn't leave them on long. She likes to take them off and put them back on over and over again but is pretty cute anyways.

Anyways this is the most recent family photo. Hayley's daycare had been asking for a family photo and I realized we haven't taken one in about 6 months. This was the best one we have for now.

I will try and get better about updating the blog and apologize for those who do not use Facebook.
