Hayley Swimming Lessons

For those of you who do not know Hayley and I have been attending swim lessons at a wonderful place called Aqua Tots. We have been attending for 2 months now and she is doing amazing. She still doesn't like going under water however she does enjoy swimming.
Image
Here I place her a "noodle" and she works on kicking her legs. In this photo though she is distracted by the instructor or another kid.

Image
We also do passes swimming where the instructor and I push her in the water to get her used to trying to kick or "swim." She didn't like this the first couple of times buy now seems to enjoy it as you can see there is a smile on her face. (Sorry it is blurry these are from Bert's iPhone)

Here we are working on floating on our backs. She did really well with this the first month but recently has decided she doesn't want to lay on her back, she prefers sitting up or on her belly. I don't think she likes the water in her ears.

Again we are working on kicking.

I believe this is a more recent picture of her on the "noodle" as you can see I am only holding it with one hand! She is doing so well!

Finally we are working on kicking and floating. We rotate front to back and work on her moving her legs!

Bert and I are doing really good. I am so excited as I only have one more week of school and then I will be off for the summer. We hope everyone else is doing good and hopefully we will get to see some of you this summer. I do have Easter pictures that I will work on getting up as well.

Visiting Grandpa Dave

We went to visit Grandpa Dave and thought it would be fun to go see and play in the snow. Unfortunately when we arrived at the mountain the wind was blowing like crazy. We were able to get up into the trees and that blocked the wind enough to not freeze to death. Hayley enjoyed the snow but wasn't overly thrilled that it would stick to her shoes.

Here we were still trying to get into the trees, and I had the hood on for two reasons. One I didn't want my hair to be blown into 1000 tangles and two it was freezing cold!

Image
Here dad is trying to get Hayley to walk but there was snow stuck on her shoes and she wasn't able to continue forward until the snow was removed! I was also carrying Lucy because her little feet were frozen and she began to shiver. I picked her up warmed her feet and she was fine.

It was beautiful what a great background for a photo!

Hayley being big stuff walking through the snow all by herself. Notice there is no snow on her shoes though LOL!

Hayley, dad, and I with Lucy of course.

Hayley and Daddy! Someone had left a wood pallet in the snow she enjoyed that as her shoes wouldn't get snow on them that way!

I just love this photo!

The photos below were taken back at dads. She decided she wanted to read a book with Grandpa whether he liked it or not.

I just love these, there isn't anything like a little girl loving her grandpa and wanting to read a book.

I have more photos to come I just want to space them out so you all have something to look forward to!
