Well, once again I have alot of catching up to do:)

On the 4th, I turned the "BIG 30"- Not sure about that, but life goes on... ha ha
My boys (all 3 of them) took excellent care of me, as usual and we had cake and icecream with Grandma & Grandpa Phillips on my birthday then on Sunday had dinner. I don't feel like I am 30 years old, but I guess some people don't always act their age anyway right? I vote to be one of those people...
However, I will say that if my next 30 years are half as fun as the first 30 have been, they are going to be good.

Clayton continues to grow too fast and is such a joy. He and our kitten "Daisy" got aquainted quite well here a week or so ago. It was the CUTEST thing ever! He loved to feel her fur and she just sat right there and checked him out too. It was so funny. Duncan, slept through the whole thing- Oh my two little boys:)

We had the Phillips Christmas Party with lots of fun and many pictures that will be keepsakes sooner than later. The ward Christmas Party, where Clayton got his first encounter with Santa and loved him. When Duncan sat on his lap, he recognized Santa's voice and proceeded to ask us why Al was dressed up like Santa Claus. Alan works at Greenline with Richard and Duncan thinks he is pretty alright. Alan is so cute with Duncan as well and was more than surprised when he whipped that comment off. We ALL about died when he recognized his voice and Alan was thinking quickly for a comeback! As for now, we just chalked it up to the fact that Santa sounds ALOT like "Big Al". Good thing he is just a helper:)

For the Pay Christmas party, we went snowmobiling/sledding, and looking at lights with Richard's parents and his brother's family. The kids had lots of fun. We will turn Grandma and Grandpa Pay into "Christmas lovers" yet!

Duncan is so happy to have snow! It is finally time to ride the snowmobiles!! He also has been waiting to build a snowman with our special friend Patty. She told Duncan two months ago that when it snowed, they would build a snowman. He has waited patiently and finally on Monday, they built two! They are pretty darn cute if I do say so myself... He was thrilled to say the least.

Well, where to start- we have had fun filled, jam packed weeks the last couple of weeks so here is my "catch up" post-

Richard and I celebrated our 10th anniversary on the 20th. It is hard to believe that we have been married for 10 years! I could not ask for a more loving, kind, intelligent, funny, hard working and STILL good looking, best friend. He has been all of these things to me for a long time, but it still seems like only yesterday he was getting off a plane from Boston and we picked up where we left off... We are just as happy, if not happier than we were 10 years ago and are so grateful for the abundance that we have been blessed with. We live a VERY charmed life in our opinion, and are so thankful for our little boys and each other. We often joke about our lifestyle and the events that have taken place in it over the last ten years: B.S. degrees, two kids, our new house and lots and lots of fun in between.... and the next ten years are going to be just as good-

From that we move on to Thanksgiving and we celebrated early with Richard's family since his sister was here from Texas. The little kids exchanged gifts with one another and all the boys had a sleep over at our house. They had a ball, to say the least and it was fun to watch the three of them play and get to know one another since they don't see each other very often.

Once again it was time for the wonderful Light Parade and Christmas festival, which also means a visit from Santa. We had just as much fun this year as we did last year getting ready and we raised the bar a little with live animals on the trailer this year in the manger scene. We had Prince (my dad's pony) and two lambs, one on each side of him. They were so cute and never even moved an inch! People could not believe them! (Neither could we:) We played music again and had so much fun. It is all worth it once you get to the parade and the kids have so much fun. We had the whole crew on there with us, except for Clayton, Richard and Uncle Justin- they were in the truck being our drivers.

To top it all off, WE WON AGAIN! Even though we do get a prize,it is just so much fun and great for the community to be involved in it. The winners are voted on by the people at the parade. All in all it was a good time.

On Sunday we headed off for Christmas trees. We love to cut our trees and it is just another one of our "famly traditions" that everyone has so many of this time of year. Traditions are so much fun! My mom and dad are such good sports, they will stay young in spite of themselves:) Duncan thought he was pretty big, riding his little 4-wheeler all by himself too. He did a darn good job and Richard and I were very impressed! Clayton rode in the Durango with me, nice and warm... Next year maybe we'll go on the 4-wheelers:) We all got our trees in "record" time and home we went to decorate. There is so much fun to come in the month that follows! Let the Christmas Celebrations begin!!! We love this time of year at our house, hope you do too- Enjoy the pictures!
