{"id":1401,"date":"2020-10-20T14:28:46","date_gmt":"2020-10-20T13:28:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/reaseheathbusinesshub.com\/course\/equine-apprenticeship-copy\/"},"modified":"2021-07-01T09:09:30","modified_gmt":"2021-07-01T08:09:30","slug":"food-technologist","status":"publish","type":"course","link":"https:\/\/reaseheathbusinesshub.com\/course\/food-technologist\/","title":{"rendered":"Food Technologist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Level<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Level 3<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duration of the course<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>24 &#8211; 35 months depending on experience<\/p>\n<p><strong>What qualifications will the apprentice gain?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Food Technologist<\/li>\n<li>Functional Skills or GCSE in English and Maths depending on previous qualifications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Study Information<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Food technology principles \u2013 including food chemistry, food industry standards, microbiology, pest control and continuous improvement management<\/li>\n<li>Food business principles \u2013 including audit processes, costs and quality, food supply chains, management systems, product development and risk management<\/li>\n<li>Food technology practices \u2013 including collecting and analysing data, product costing, product trials, problem solving, root cause analysis and sensory analysis<\/li>\n<li>Communications \u2013 including building relationships with customers and suppliers and influencing, negotiating, presentation, written and verbal skills<\/li>\n<li>Health and safety practices and legislation within a food production environment \u2013 including food safety, environmental, hygiene standards and hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP)<\/li>\n<li>Functional Skills or GCSE in English and Maths depending on previous qualifications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How much will this course cost?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Apprenticeships are funded through government and employer contributions. If the apprentice is:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>16-18 working for a small business (&lt;50) their training will be fully funded*<\/li>\n<li>19+ or working for a Medium size business (50+) an employer contribution may be required<\/li>\n<li>Working for a large business or organisation (Payroll of \u00a33m+) training is funded from employers Digital Apprenticeship Service Account<br \/>\n*small businesses who employ an apprentice between 16-18 may be eligible to receive a financial government incentive<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Transport<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We offer a high-quality college bus service which collects over 1,400 students every day from across Cheshire and surrounding areas.
