About Me

Just a brief information about myself:

I am he…he is Kenny Simon.  I am an unpredictable guy in terms of everything. Sometimes I turn good, sometimes I turn bad. Sometimes I run wild, sometime I become too naive. I am happy when my family and friends are around.  I hate it when separation takes place. I have my own principle in life and that leads me to the path I am using now.

Born in the 1985 on the Feast of the Assumption, I consider myself as someone close to God, through every actions I take, based on the faith that I am holding on.  My parents are my source of inner strength and I am a loyal fan of my siblings and my relatives where ever and who ever they are. Friends, regardless of their status, background or even their social distinction, are my bonds that supports me all the way. They might hurt me at times but I appreciate it, and those who are dear to me, only God knows how you are to be rewarded when the time comes.

I am proud to be called a Sarawakian, because it is my hometown, beautiful and unique, thus I deserve myself to be recognised as unique.  My appearance might be decieving to some but I reward myself with a pat on my back, complimenting myself as who I am now.  I am also proud to be called Dayak (Bidayuh to be specific) beacuse from that identity, it defines everything, from its unique culture and tradition, the richness of its wonderful hospitality and the people.  I don’t know why some people refuse themselves to be called as Dayak but what ever it is, I am proud to be one.

My early education started when I was 7 and I had a hard time coping with the new environment, they call it as SCHOOL. St. Joseph School is the school of choice as my dad and my bros engraved their memories in that school, so why not I tie the string of continuity in the school rite? I had my 6 years of primary school education in St. Joseph’s Primary School and another 6 years in St. Joseph’s Secondary School. My service towards my alma mater didnt stop right there when in 2005, I was accepted of being a temporary teacher in my own alma mater. It was a real joy for me as I made my homecoming and did something beneficial to the school.

After the hardwork and pain of gaining as much knowledge as I could for 12 years, University of Malaya is on my list of yet another level of my wonderful life. 4 years of struggle has been a great challenge for me to reach into the level of success, and now as I type about myself here in my page, I am waiting for the day when I go up to stage and tell the whole world that I’ve made it FINALLY! The day when I put on my academic robe, staff and mortar board, receiving my scroll of success from Tan Sri Dr. Pro Canselor on this day, 15th August 2009.

God has a wonderful plan lined up for me and I thank Him for giving me the grace and mercy, showering me and my whole family with His blessings, making me loving You more than anyone else. Praise the Lord, I am who I am because of You!
