Really unbelievably great work on the camera! I’ve been searching for a decent NDI camera for iOS for years and I was talking to Gemini and it mentioned Mavis. I immediately downloaded it and absolutely love it. I have previously been using the Blackmagic camera app, but no hope for NDI. Bought the NDI license and was pleased to see that it works for both of my iPhone Pro devices logged into the same Apple account.
I am getting really nice smooth results with my home network and I’m looking forward to connecting an AP and using the static IP address in a live club environment. I will also be getting a SeeMo for my handheld GH6.
The UI is a pleasure to work with and I love the camera settings wheel. The zoom control is also absolutely brilliant and useable for on air moves!
Are there any significant performance differences between with using NDI, “Find Nearby” or Mavis Cloudhub when it comes to smooth video? It’s great that Cloudhub enables remote inputs easily and that NDI plays nice with my hardline PTZ cams.
I’m at the point where I won’t use software unless I really love it, so thank you!
