I have a Samsung phone that ive had unlimited data on for years, and my mom has a family plan on her phone, my phone, and my grandmother's phone where she pays for all of our phones in 1 payment instead of 3 payments, all with unlimited data, for certain privacy reasons that i wont discuss here I kept the wifi on my phone off and stuck with using only mobile data as it was unlimited

today around 5 everything on my phone crashed, everything was the same, the "5G UC" logo and bars were still in the top right corner, but nothing would connect, I couldn't recieve/send messages on sites like discord or Instagram or go on anything online (texts from my messages/phone number seemed ok but I honestly didnt check as there was no one i could text) and the only way it would work is if I connected to my home wifi, and anytime I disconnect from home wifi and turn mobile data back on, the issue starts again, this issue is completely new to me

my mom always threatens to turn my phone off or completely turn the internet off, is this the case or is something else going on?

I tried: • checking for software update (wasnt any) • resetting my phone numerous times • checking settings on my phone • checking for reported issues with mobile data in area
