I work 12h shifts. Between taking care of the house and my grandparents, it is a struggle but I usually manage at least a couple hours a week. Usually before bed when everything winds down. It feels good to draw and it’s like a drug I can’t help but keep coming back to. I also get commissions and the thought of someone waiting for me to see my art made for them is also very motivating, I really enjoy making other people’s ideas come to life
Looks like your painting has a lot of questiosn too lol
First of all well done for asking for advice!
-
it comes with trial and error, you will build an eye for it over time
-
less paint on the brush, light and fast strokes on the outer edges to 'feather out'one color into the other
-
needs to be darker on the eyelash area, less of a highlight to under the brow, I think
-
I have no idea, lemme know when you firgure it out will ya?
-
again, trial and error, lots of it
My advice might not be the best bc I only know half of what I'm doing, but I hope this helps!
I was thinking that too. But perpetual licences nowadays are rare and hard to find, everyone wants a subscription out of you. Also drawing tablets, you don’t need a new one every couple years but man the urge to get a better/bigger/newer model or a screen tablet is always so tempting (and expensive)!
Oh thank god there’s a different method that doesn’t kill MTS. I think they’re cute to watch when I get home from work and would hate to see them go so I was hesitating on getting no Planaria. I was also thinking of maybe starting the whole tank over but that’s a huge undertaking I won’t have time for in the next couple months. Will look more into what you’ve suggested before getting to it, thank you so much for your explanation!
