We were able to go down and spend some time with my Grandma this last week. We ate at one of Grandpa's favorite Mexican places, we played some shuffle-board, cards, and just enjoyed each others company. When I was little, we started calling my Grandpa and Grandma "Big Grandpa" and "Big Grandma" because they are so tall. The name just stuck and to this day we sill call them that. Grandpa and Grandma had one of the best relationships I've ever seen. After 60 years, they still acted like newlyweds sometimes! They have been the perfect Grandparents. I can walk into their house and be instantly comforted. There has always been such a loving peaceful feeling there. Thank you Grandpa and Grandma, for being such great examples to us grandchildren. We love you both so very much. Grandpa, you will be missed very much. We take comfort knowing we will be reunited again one day.
