Sledding!

We had an unusually large amount of snow for November so we took advantage of it by going sledding at Kleiner park.  We love having Kleiner Park so close to us! Most of the city of Meridian had the same idea so it was really crowded but everyone was respectful of each other and we all had a great time!

I only went down the hill twice. It was more fun to watch the boys.

Britton found a group of preteen boys in no time.  He was going over jumps and standing on his sled.

At first Caden wasn't interested in sledding at all but after watching for 10 minutes he decided it looked like fun and was willing to go with Benjamin.  After a couple rides with Benjamin, he was ready to go on his own!

Stylin boys and snow!

Image
We went to a big consignment sale and Britton found himself some basketball gear and a hat.  He thought he was pretty cool.

I found a suit for Benjamin for 6.00!  I was pretty excited about it.

Caden is wearing hand me downs, but he wanted a style picture too.

Date Nights

Image
From time to time we take the boys out on individual dates.  For Benjamin's date we took him to a Star Wars Spoof play done by Centennial High School. He had a great time.

For Britton's date we went to Tucanos.  Britton loved every second.  He drank at least 3 decanters of strawberry lemonade.

Caden's date was to the Boise aquarium.  His favorite part was the bat rays. He called them his buddies.  He didn't want to touch them but he like to watch them.

Caden slept on the way home.  It's a sure sign that he had a great time!

Fall Fun

Image
For Family night we made caramel apples. They were a big hit!

I  went to check on Caden outside and saw this. He made himself a bed in a pile of leaves!

We went to see the boy's Halloween parade at the school and Caden laid on the ground. He was so tired!  Turns out he had a fever.  Poor kid!

Not sure what Britton's costume is but he liked it.

Farmstead pumpkin patch

Image
The boys insisted these needed to be their costumes this year...

Caden got a rug burn on his head and then picked at it until it was a bloody mess.  We put a band aid on it and now he thinks he needs a band aid  on it forever, as well as anywhere else that might have a tiny scratch or scab.
Image
We went to the Farmstead for a child care field trip while school was out and Britton was greatly disappointed that he had to pick his pumpkin from the small patch.  We promised to come back for bigger pumpkins.
Image
Benjamin was very proud of his pumpkin
Image
Caden insisted that he get the smallest pumpkin he could find. No amount of trying to convince him otherwise would work.
