The last post was more than 6 months ago!!??!
I think it's time to update myself and the World
First, 3rd year..Junior yr..first semester started a month and half ago.
Enrolled for 6 courses including 4 major courses, Thermodynamics, Mechanical Behavior of Materials, Experiment in Materials & Micro structural characterization of Materials which is an awful burden and stress which cause more hair fall which i noticed at the end of last month..so decided to drop a major course with some space to breathe and enjoy my 3rd Spring in Korea^^
Well, I would say nothing different really happen to me so its the old boring me but while being a 'solo', there are much more opportunities to learn and explore different possibilities - The biggest asset to improve and bring one's life to another level.
Learning through other people's achievements and failure is one which I observe the most and from there, has brought about many different perceptives and way of thinking...ok this is boring let's move to another topic..
After 2 years in SNU in the same old always-under-renovation with quite frequent electricity loss etc, decided to apply for a limited place in the newly built dorm right next to the old dormitory. I think most foreigners who applied made it except for a few friends who did not make it anyway the whole thing is..the new dorm is excellent and feels MORE like a real dorm with better facilities and SUPER FAST internet..10mbps which means i can download 1G movie and watch it right after 5~10minutes.
Don't know what's going to happen if I had to move back to the old one, might just move out of campus and live in a rented room lol
The room's really cosy, wide and airy. Looking out from the window, there's a football field and everyday, without fail football session starts from 7am and ends around 8pm.So I have a natural? alarm clock to wake me up. But its good since I can sleep earlier and wake up early!!

.the desired student?? lifestyle.
My roommate's a
year older than me and is his last year and his getting ready for a government exam for those who wants to be teachers..another one of the many qualification exams for different professionals..no wonder South Korea has the highest? percentage of suicide rates in the world. A few weeks ago there were suicide incidents in KAIST, Korea Institute of Science & Tech, a top engineering university in Korea, on par with SNU's engineering faculty. Probably caused by the stress while studying but that's true for many students in Korea's top universities.
No wonder students usually take a semester off from uni or study more than 8 semesters just to graduate. Okay, this is depressing..next topic!

One of my best 형 hyung introduced me to this sport last summer when i went for a trip down south to his house near Busan. I would say its a much more interesting and exhilarating sport compared to football..because its a very family-oriented? sport.. if you have 5 person in a family, you can have the father as the pitcher, the son as the hitter/batter, the mother and other son or daughter as the mid/left/right fielder. Besides that, its nt a really 'man' game like football/soccer, its a entertaining game which you can watch with your family, friends, gf/bfs etc. You just have to know the rules and have a team you LIKE!!
Basically(don't need to read this if nt interested), its rules are more complicated than football rules..whereby u win by just scoring goals..but in baseball, you win by scoring points..and scoring a point is not easy. The hitter has to hit the ball and run from the first, 2nd, 3rd base and finally the home to score a point. We all have heard about hitting a homerun. A hitter who makes a hit can run to as a max of 2 bases but if he hits a homerun..he can run from first to home base and score a point. However if there are other hitters already on the base, then it will be 2 or 3 or a maximum of 4 points which is HUGE! Once a hitter hits a HOMERUN, everyone goes wild because u know there's at least a point in the bag already. i'm sure you don't know what I'm talking about, so just learn from a friend or watch and learn as u go like how I used to do^^
On a final note, things are going great for myself but seeing too many changes in the past few months was the catalyst which made me finally write something here..All those changes had a really deep impression that not all things stay the same..people can change(mostly due to relationship or an unprecedented accident) and some things never change( family-relationship)
Also people change to stay ahead of other people, to gain what they see as an opportunity for themselves...and all this are governed by the thirst for success.
I'm sure i myself is not an exception but I'm glad I have noticed all these coming in...in one way or another =)
Anyway, gonna watch a REAL baseball game soon even with all the exams...exams never end so..just enjoy as much as possible =)
Take care and adios^^
