Family Pictures, Halloween & a Birthday

Image
Family Pictures always deserve a blog post!

Image
After one of our neighbors had to cancel on us three different times for family pictures, so I called one of our besties, Jackie, to beg her to let her husband the trusty, Mike, to take them. It didn't take much because she's awesome to share her husband and Mike is awesome because we just walked down to the pond right by our house and took these in 15 minutes.

Our superhero door. We had a black light on it to make it shine!

I kept forgetting which superhero I was, I think Thor girl? And, of course our cute Wonder Baby!

Someone turned 5 at our house!

I don't think he realized until the day before his birthday that he could choose a different theme than last year for his birthday party. Too late, Mom had already bought the supplies for the cake!

Blog Worthy

It's been over six months since I've blogged and a few blog worthy events have happened.
Here's the condensed/picture version:

Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa Hill's house with cousins!

Easter

Playing outside and anxiously waiting...

... for this little girl to make her appearance!

My parents brought the boys over within an hour of Edi being born. She had just had her bath and the nurse brought her to the door of the nursery, so they could see her for the first time!

Now I am the mother of THREE kids!

Nelson played on a soccer team with some of his neighborhood friends.

The boys love to smoother and kiss their little sister!

Clive turned 2 exactly two weeks after Edi was born! We had some friend over and ate pizza, cupcakes and snow cones! What more could a 2-year-old ask for?

Mother's Day (and Edi's first day at church)

I got a little crafty and made matching skirts for Edi and me!

Edi's blessing day! It was a beautiful day filled with wonderful family members. As you can see, Edi looked perfect in the dress that Grandma Hill bought days after we found out she was a girl!

And, a couple of pictures from the photo shoot one of my BFF's did when Edi was two-weeks-old.

We sure do love our life (aka kids)!

Turned 4, Can't Wait to be 5...

Image
This cute guy is 4-years-old now! Unfortunately on his birthday, Grandma Hill told him, "Now that you are 4, next year you will be 5 and can go to Kindergarten!" Since she said that, he tells everyone he is almost 5. Maybe Christmas will distract him from this obsession...

We love our Nelson-boy! He has always been a joy to us! Although this year he has worried me more than other years, it's mostly because he is so much like his Mom. Oh the joys and sorrows of having a child that is just like you.

Nelson still LOVES his friends! This year for his birthday, he had a friend party. The theme, of course, was Cars 2. Nothing but Cars 2 would make him happy. So, we watched the movie, ate popcorn and pizza, and had a Cars 2 pinata. I'm glad Richard was around because two of us were needed for the seven (almost) 4-year-olds. He had a blast and that is the important thing!

18-Month-Old Cutie!

Image
This little guy started nursery at church today! You know what that means? He is now officially 18-months-old! The last time I wrote about him was at his first birthday. Boy has this boy changed! Well, he's still adventurous and likes to get into trouble, but he's a lot better at it these days. Seriously, he thinks he's at least as old as his big brother!
Clive loves to talk and sing! He has a large vocabulary so large I can't even start to type out the words he says/has said. He loves "binky" and "blanky". He calls his brother "Nelsy" and loves to say "Grandpa" which, of course, makes my Dad feel so happy. He repeats words that you say often especially if it is said loudly. His favorite songs to sing are "ABC's", "Clean-Up song" and "Robot Parade". He was just singing the last song to me a few minutes ago. He hums and sings jibberish all the time, too.
We just love this little boy (who's not a baby anymore)! And, Richard and I love that he will be occupied for the majority of church now!
