Lunch Time

Every week (well most weeks) some of our school friend mamas and our kids get together and go eat lunch with the Daddies/Hubbies at school! It's always so much fun to get together with friends and let our little ones play! It's definitely one of our favorite traditions since Rob's been in school! Today Carson had fun playing with two of his friends, Dax and Taya! They were being cute and all trying to jump on these hole covers. So I tried to quick get a cute picture! Then they got distracted by an ant and were so cute looking at it. Later Carson didn't think the ants were so cool anymore when he sat in an ant hole and they nibbled on him for lunch! Poor little guy! :( Hard to believe that Carson was just weeks old when we started our weekly lunches!

Playground

So I finally downloaded the Blogger app in hopes of documenting more of the day to day stuff around here. I take quick pictures all the time with my phone or iPod to send to Rob at school or family and I don't do much else with them, so I figured I might a well blog them too. Someday I will want to remember the little stuff too. Although I wish I always had my nice camera I figure sometimes a phone picture is better than nothing! So enough about that... I'm pretty sure I've said this before, but we love the neighborhood we are renting in right now! Just down the street there is a fun little playground and with this beautiful weather we had to go and play! And do a little puddle splashing too, of course! :)

Strawberries!

Carson has started saying a TON of words recently! He will try to say pretty much anything we tell him, but it doesn't always sound quite right and of course when he still really wants something or is upset he reverts to screaming, grunting, pointing, or his signs! But he is doing so good at trying to use his words! Anyway, he is totally moving up in the world because he's starting to attempt 3 syllable words! Haha! Yes people this is a big deal to this little guy! Today at lunch I was sitting there and he started saying strawberries. He obviously wanted more (he pigs out on fruit and even tries to hide it for later..silly) but I thought it was so cute (1st time mom, I know!!! :)) I made him say it again to send to daddy!

Lazy Day

Today was one of those lazy have-nothing-we-have-to-do kind of days and Carson and I loved it! He is totally way into Cars right now. We watch it at least once a day and he would like to watch it more if I allowed it! So we of course watched Cars, colored and played with stickers, got the car washed, and spent the afternoon at the library! We have a library right around the corner from where we live now and we LOVE it. It has the most awesome kids area I've seen! As soon as we walk threw the doors Carson runs as fast as his little legs will go to find the kids area and leaves me in the dust! Of course C's favorite part are the trains! I love days like today and am so grateful I get to be a stay-at-home Mama during this time and have fun nothing-to-do-days with my little boo!

Baby Jesus

We couldn't wait any longer and broke out the nativity for Carson. He got it last year for Christmas and we didn't open it and put it up in the closet for him to play with this year! It's been staring at me all year and I had to get it down! It was cute to see him playing with it! He says Je-us and points and picks up baby Jesus! He even kisses him and puts him on top of the stable where the angel is suppose to go! We sure do love this time of year! We are excited we have a little one to help bring the magic into our home and are excited to share with him the true meaning of Christmas as he grows up!

Arizona Science Center

Last week I scored a culture pass at the library, so Carson, Aunt Christi, and I headed to the Arizona Science Museum today!! I hadn't been to the Museum since I was in Elementary School, so I didn't know how much fun we were going to have, but figured since it was free it was worth a shot, and it didn't disappoint! Although it is intended for slightly older children then Carson, he had a blast. There was a ton of hands on activities and buttons to push, which is totally what he loves! They even had an awesome outdoor water exibit-thing! Carson couldn't get enough of it! Probably his favorite room though was the Lego room. He LOVED racing the cars down the track and playing in the pile of huge Legos! It was a fun day and it was fun watching Carson explore and discover so many new and exciting things!
