I'm hooked.

Number of times Hank has been dropped: One. Not bad. . .considering I am dealing with ILA here.

She actually let me do this to her hair.

This is Gus' favorite place to be.

Sleep is for the weak.

Charlie turned 5 last Monday & also started his first day at kindergarten. Family came into town for Hank's blessing & also to shower Charlie with nerf guns. Turns out nerf guns are REALLY for the adults & not the kiddos.

On Sunday at church, I found a nerf dart in Hank's car seat.

Charlie's class. Randy took him for the 1st day, claiming I was too emotional.
Smart guy.

While Charlie is at school, Ila & Gus are up to their wiley ways. Gus even reverted to nap-taking again. YEAH for me!

Gus will hold Hank for hours.
It's perfect.

Our neighbor gave us a dirt bike & $50 later---it's working. The boys LOVE it.
Ila-not so sure.

Hello Hank!

We are SO excited to have welcomed Henry "Hank" Benson Murray on Thursday @ 10:01 a.m.

He weighed 7 pounds 8 ounces & is as KISSABLE as ever.

Charlie, Ila, & Gus are super excited & Gus is feeling MUCH better now that he knows Hank will be with us FOREVER---and not just a couple of days. He's funny.

The Bump

Here I am--36 weeks preg in all it's glory.

And also Hank---snuggled up right next to his hand & the umbilical cord.

I had this ultrasound done on Wednesday. The ultrasound tech is so friendly & is always willing to do a 4D for $0----can't beat it. He's measuring a bit ahead & I'm SO hoping next week will be THE week. The tech said he was weighing 7 lb 8 oz---with 3 weeks 3 days to go.
I cried. Really.

I'm better now, although that night I went to bed & I dreamed about BIG things all night long. Random things, like tree trunks. . .but not BIG babies or BIG babies HEADS. Just tree trunks.

Do the 4D pictures freak you out/make you cringe or can you SEE the sweet baby? All my kids have that same nose---just a little button.

You know you missed us.

Things that have happened since the last time I blogged:

I gained 10 pounds. Hopefully some of that went to the baby & not ALL me.

Charlie went kindergarten supply shopping. He learned to ride on 2 wheels.

I became ADDICTED to couponing & now have a years supply of ALL toiletries.

Ila started putting her pee and poop in the potty. Her pudgy butt is SO cute in panties. She also puts entire rolls of toilet paper, toys, wrappers & other necessities INTO the potty--and tops it off with one big FLUSH.

Gus fell . . .or as he tells it, JUMPED, off of the 4-wheeler onto the pavement. A little roadrash. He is way excited about preschool & has become quite the make-believer.

Mountain biking has lured Randy in, as has selling bike parts in his (my) spare time. He also took his wife canoeing (thanks Bekki for taking the kiddos)----and then he asked me to turn around because I was facing the wrong direction in the canoe--who knew?. Mind you my equilibrium in OR out of a canoe at this point is no good. I tried to turn around but lost it halfway through and dumped the canoe.

Hank is now carefully nested up into my right rib. Ila can't wait to MEET him & do all the FUN things she already does to her baby dolls.

Concrete overlay Randy did at a resort in Branson, MO last month--5000 square feet.

August highlights: Hank arrives (hopefully will be a July highlight), Ila turns 2, Charlie turns 5 & is off to kindergarten---

I go nuts.

Should've gone back for more.

I was able to score a 50% off your entire purchase coupon for Old Navy @ www.oldnavyweekly.com ---- I could hardly sleep last night I was SO excited.
Off to Old Navy. Ila was in need of summer clothes, Charlie some school clothes, Gus some new jeans and Baby Boy a wardrobe! Once I started, it was hard to stop. I spent $127.55 ---the retail value on what I got was $672! (I added up the tags because I was CURIOUS)
I took a friend---to share the wealth---the receipt was taller than ME!
Here's the picts---really for my enjoyment more than yours.
Buying in advance for 4 kiddos is WORK--too much THINKING!

See what YOU can find next week at http://www.oldnavyweekly.com/

The big reveal.

The ultrasound was yesterday & everything appears to be healthy with the baby.

It was VERY obvious that we are going to have more of this. . .

Image

And NOT another one of these. . .

Image

And one more to set on this LOVED & much used swing to enjoy a popsicle on a beautiful day.
It looks like there's enough room for 1 more. Who will HE sit by? If he's smart, not by Ila because she eats that popsicle the fastest & is the quickest to grab the person's next to her. . .
