family pictures

We took some family pictures this year. This is our first year we will be seperated for the holdays. Its been almost a year since my mom left. My parents are going threw a divorce so I just have pics of me, my brother and sister with our parents in seperate pics. This was at Makenzis blessing.

This one is kind of funny. We all went to dinner to talk about some family issues and Scott wasnt able to come. so we found a picture of him and photoshopped him in it. so thats why he looks funny. we are giving it to my dad for christmas and i wanted us all in a picture for him.

Stuff

Makenzi has been smiling a lot lately. its hard to get a good pic of her. she smiles then stops in a second so i do my best to get it.

Some cousins came over and we made a gingerbread house. the kids wanted to eat the candy more then they wanted to make the house but it was fun.

Makenzi's little cousin Ryden is 5 weeks younger then her and he is a little bigger than she is. They look so cute in this picture.

Awesome vacation

We just had a great vacation at Disneyland! We went to the park for 3 days. Scott's mom Betty and his sister Shandi went with us. We had so fun much fun. There were not very many people there so we got on rides with either no waiting or sometimes 15 min of waiting. Makenzi even got to go on a few. 3 days was alot, we have never gone that many days in row before. My legs and feet hurt sooo bad the evening of the 2ND day. From all the piggy back rides and pushing the stroller and just from being on my feet for so many hours. But it was worth it. The kids did really well. Not many meltdowns and Makenzi was amazing and just slept pretty much the whole time. Dezi is now tall enough to go on everything. I think she went on all the rides at least 3 times. She was happy or sleeping all the time. Except on the way home she had some tummy problems. I think all the being on the go was catching up to her. She threw up a lot. She started choking when she threw up one time while I was feeding her in the car. I didn't realize I could unbuckle her seat and have her out in 2 seconds. Our ride home was rough, the kids were grouchy and fighting and it took us like 3 more to get home then it took us to get there. but we finally made home about 11:30 that night.

They have this huge decorated Christmas tree on main street. I wished my camera could have gotten a better picture of it.

We stayed to watch the fireworks 2 nights . They were awesome. The best fireworks show I have ever seen!!. Snow whites castle was beautiful with all the Christmas decorations.

Scott is being one of the kids. They would go under the boxes and Scott would jump back and forth and scare them. they loved it. they were giggling so much

Goofys house

Mickeys house. I had Makenzi in the baby backpack and i put this cover over it to keep peoples germs and cool breezes away from her. but think a lot of people thought i was walking around nursing. cause i got alot of funny looks when i wore it.

We got our faces painted on the last day we were there. We kind of felt like dorks but then we got over it cause a lot of people told us how pretty it was.

Jack Skellington scared Sim half to death. The boys were looking out at the boat in the water and Jack came up behind them as Sim was turning around and he started talking and Sim goes "WOOH!" and almost fell down. Scott and I laughed so hard. They liked talking to him. It was neat for Jack to come up to them and talk. Most the characters we saw seemed liked they were trying to get away from the kids but this guy did a great job at his character.

We saw a few characters this time. But they really rush you through the lines so we didn't stop for a lot of them.

The boys are in love with trains right now. So the first thing we did when we got to disneyland was ride the train.

This was our first night. We went to the rainforest cafe, its at downtown Disney. The don't really know what to think about all the animals that make noise and move.

Babies... and more

Me and 2 of my cousins have had our babies within a month and half of each other. Here is my cousin Brittney. she had a little boy Ryden. he was born about 5 weeks after Makenzi. He is her third baby. I think she is trying to keep up with me... ha ha she turned 23 right before her third was born and i turned 23, 2 months after carter was born.

Another Cousin Cheyenne. She had a little girl, Kimber. Kimber is 4 weeks younger than Makenzi. Makenzi and Kimber were both 7lbs 2oz and 20 1/2 in. This is her first baby. Its going to be so much fun for Makenzi to have lots of cousins to play with.

Makenzi's blessing

We blessed Makenzi this past sunday. I am so thankful that I have Scott. He is a wonderful husband and father. He always does a great job with his blessings. I know it has to be hard to get up in front of the church and do that. I wont even say the prayer. I am very thankful to have a worthy priesthood holder and a great man that will take me and our children to church. As much as he would prefer to stay at home. He doesnt complain (much) This dress was one of the outfits I kept of Dezi's.

All 6 of us!! WOW that seems like a lot. We took several pictures and this was the best one. Trying to get all the kids to smile and look at one area at the same time seems almost impossible.

She is mad but her dress looks so pretty in this picture. I really think she doesnt like her picture taken cause she is either crying when I take them or making a really funny face.

Makenzi newborn pics

I have been taking some pictures of Makenzi to send out to family. Here are a few of them. She already looks different and is growing too fast and she is only 3 weeks old. My mom bought this tutu and i have a headband and flower that matched it. The flower is HUGE and its bigger than her little face but for pictures I thought it was cute.

I want to get some pictures of Scotts hands next to hers. She was holding on to scotts thumb the other day and she can hardly get her little hand around it. His thumb is as big as her whole hand.

Halloween

Scott surprised me with his halloween costume this year. He said he bought it at a truck stop. some people at the party didnt even realize he dressed up until they got a better look at him. I thought if he were to ever really dress like that when we tried to go anywhere i would not go with him. His cut off shirt thats underneath the bright orange one says bad to the bone. Way cool..... Carter liked it cause it had a picture of a semi truck on it. sim had a ghost costume that he has been very excited about for a month. But he wouldnt wear it. Dezi is a 50's girl. She had cool glasses and a pearl necklace but i didnt get a picture fast enough. she had taken it all off.

Dezi's birthday

Dezi is 9 years old now. She hasnt been feeling very good this week so she missed a couple days of school. she is feeling better now just in time for halloween. She got some good stuff. My sister made her cake for me. Really nice of her since im still recovering from having Makenzi. Blowing out the candles

all the kids have done really well adjusting to a new little sister. they all love her and want to hold her. even Carter is gentle with her. I was really worried about him being rough. He is really loud and wakes her up a lot and that will be hard as she gets older and doesnt sleep as good as she does now.

Dez loves her but wants her to be her baby doll that she can take and do whatever she wants with. Then she realizes that she cries and moves too much to take anywhere. So she barely has the patience to feed her a 2oz bottle.

Sim is really funny. He doesnt seem to care much about her. He is to busy doing boy stuff. But if I ask him for help he always helps me.
