Grass-Fed Finished, Locally Grown, USDA Certified Quality Beef
For Your Family

Raised right and finished better. Our cattle are locally grown on over 1000 grazing acres in Colorado, so you can enjoy grass-fed beef that is USDA certified.

Do You Know Where Your Food Comes From?

Running Wild Ranch raises Highland, Aberdeen Angus, and British White cattle. Our cattle are grass-fed and finished. Meaning our cattle eat only grass their entire life, never grain. This creates a healthier meat for you. And you’ll taste the difference!

Our cattle are free-range, all natural, and humanely raised in Southern Colorado. We are proud to deliver this premium product straight to you. No middle man, no grocery store mark up, and no beef sitting in a shipping truck making its way across the country. Just fresh, quality beef delivered by the people who raised it.

“We bring our best to our day-to-day farming so you can feel good about what you bring to your table.”

– Rick & Stefanie –

Hey y’all! We’re Rick and Stefanie Roberson, owners of Running Wild Ranch in Rye, Colorado.

In 25 years of marriage, there’s one thing we know we can count on – we never know where our love for adventure will lead us. Years ago Rick ran an errand to buy a box blade and somehow came home with five cows and a bull. And that’s where our business story begins!

We love four things. Ranch life in Colorado, raising all-natural beef for our community, all our animals on the ranch from the cattle to the pet coyote, and Ole Miss.

Ranch life can be tough, but rewarding. Not too long ago we found one of our calves half frozen in the winter weather. We brought him in the house and tended to him with heating blankets and a very expensive, barely used Dyson hair dryer to warm him up. He lived through the ordeal and we named him Dyson. He’s now thriving at Running Wild Ranch.

We put great care into raising grass-fed finished beef so your family can enjoy meat that’s healthier than grain-fed beef.

Running Wild By the Numbers
