About Us
The Rowan University / Rutgers–Camden Board of Governors (RURCBOG) is an innovative partnership between two world-class institutions designed to leverage and expand Camden’s significant medical, research and education assets.
RURCBOG carries out its mission by supporting health research, workforce training, and economic development projects that grow the region’s healthcare capacity and contribute to the vibrant health sciences corridor in downtown Camden.
Joint Health Science Center
The Center houses research laboratory spaces for both Rowan University and Rutgers University-Camden, simulation rooms for medical students at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, instructional space and additional simulation labs for Camden County College, and office space for RURCBOG. The collaborative design hopes to inspire students and faculty from each institution to work together on a common research agenda that will produce groundbreaking contributions and advances in the field of Biomedical science.
