What a Blessing!

Image
What an amazing Mothers Day weekend I had. Family from both sides came from all over the country, down to Galveston in celebration of Stadlers blessing. All the mothers that have been true examples to me in my life celebrated this special day with me. I got to watch my husband give a beautiful blessing to our son, and we where so grateful to have such wonderful men be in the circle with him. We enjoyed having everyone at our house and making this Mothers Day one I will never forget.

No more P!

Image
It’s gone the Paci went ba bye! One of our New Years resolutions was for Jadyn to get rid of her pacifier before the new baby comes. I was a little bit nervous to take it away because of the numerous horror stories I’ve heard with sleepless nights and hours of crying tantrums of those that have tried.  I thought that surly Jadyn would be just like all of those children with how attached she was to it. Well, she surprised us all! After hiding them I told her the paci went ba bye. She cried for a good 45 minutes and then asked us if we could go in the “ car ba bye” I guess to find it. Well, we didn’t but we did find a frosty at Wendy’s and she never fussed over it again. She went right to bed that night and the next with no problem. Now if only potty training could be just as easy:).

Look who's 2!

Jadyn had her second birthday a few weeks ago. We decided to have a Toy Story party for her because we never go a day with out watching it in our house. Thank goodness there are 3 movies, otherwise I would pull me hair out. Anyways, Jadyn knows all the characters by name and carries Jessie, Woody and Buzz around everywhere we go.

Made her a little Jessie out fit.

Finally put my cake decorating class to good use.
Image

Image
She had so much fun with all her friends.
Image
We had each kid make there own personal pizzas in my Pizza Planet kitchen:), which ended up being a lot more work than I thought it would be with only one oven.  Thankfully Auntie Kylee and Fiance Zach showed up to help bake or I would have been swimming in toppings.

We played there's a Snake in my Boot where the kids had to throw bean bag snakes into a boot to get a prize and Pin the Face on Mr. Potato Head....they did awesome.

Hawaii

Went Island hopping and found one of our new favorite places to vacation! My awesome parents treated us to an amazing week long vacation in Maui. I have decided Maui is a medically underserved area and needs residencies asap...just need to convince Whit.

Image

The MEN went scuba diving...I fed the fish just a bit... while GiGi and Whit lounged by the pool eating nachos
Image

Ran to the top of one of the two volcanos (spell it I cannot). Had to get as high as possible....or look as touristee as possible? Two birds with one stone.

Looking over the valley.

Wedding bell tree...hint to my bros and sistas to do destination weddings here.
Image

No that is not the bike I was on, it is clearly a women's bike. Not to mention as a semi-intelligent scooter rider I would never leave my helmet in such a dangerous position. "The Beast" is further to the right. Riding down the Volcano was tremendously fun!
Image

Jurassic Park rock. Whit did great on the road to Hana.
Image

There were some beautiful bamboo forests, but instead we decided to take a picture with this bamboo because it was incredibly thick! Loved the Garden of Eden, highly recommend the place over Missouri.

One of many waterfalls on the road to Hana.

These girls really wanted a picture to Whit and my Mom, so we obliged.

The luau was soooo relaxing and fun, they know how to BBQ.

Kemah

For the last week of summer the DiGiovanni's came down to Galveston for a last HURRAH! Jadyn had such a blast hanging with her Aunts and Uncle. So much fun that Mommy could not even come near :).

Image

G-pops treated us all to a fun day at Kemah Boardwalk. As you can see Jadyn had a blast! She was able to ride on most of the rides but her favorite one of all was the carousel. She went on it 7 times and picked the dolphin every single time.

Kenna and Kylee both had birthdays coming up so we celebrated with a handmade quilt and a chocolate cake!

Every time GiGi comes she brings her GiGi bag filled with lots of fun goodies for J. This time she brought Hello Kitty stickers. Apparently one is not enough:).
