Sorry for the long post but it has been a while since I've put up pictures. My family came out for Christmas and we spent Christmas Eve here at our house. It was lots of fun to have them visit. Then on Christmas day we went to Richie's Auntie Lynda's house in Seattle. We were only there for a few hours but had a blast with his family. His dad and siblings were also there which made it extra special. His Auntie cooked an AMAZING Christmas dinner! Isaac and Abby got to hang out with their cousin Beckett who they rarely get to see. Unfortunately, I don't know what was up with me and I didn't take very many pictures. I have no evidence that we even had a Christmas Eve, so sad :(
But I got better. The following weekend, Richie's dad and siblings came down to Portland and we celebrated Isaac's birthday a little early with some yummy food that Richie made and some cake. Most of our friends were still out of town so they weren't able to make it. But Isaac's friend Carter was here to help him celebrate! Ike got tons of gifts which he loved and was exhausted by bedtime.
On Isaac's real birthday, we headed over to Chuck E. Cheese. The last time we were there was for his birthday last year. I have to say it was a lot more fun this time because Ike was pretty much on auto pilot. No chasing him around everywhere. He pretty much liked one ride the most where he spent most of his tokens. We all had a really good time.
My mom left today after being here for 3 weeks! She came to help with the kids because I had to have surgery to fix an umbilical hernia I got while I was pregnant. I'm recovering very well, but we all miss my mom and my sister Melanie a lot, especially Isaac and Abby. They are so lucky to have an Aunt who loves to play with them and a grandma who caters to their every need. Thank you so much mom for helping with everything! We love you and miss you so much already!
Well we're back to real life now which is always fun. I will try to post some more pictures soon of Abby almost walking! We hope you all had a fabulous Christmas and Happy New Year to all!
