Home For Sale...

We recently put our home in St. George back on the market, yes we still have it, its the life lesson that just keeps on giving! So we are asking for everyone's positive vibes, so that we can get it sold this time! This is Jeremiah's fortune cookie that is hanging on the fridge, think positive people!

Our Valentine's Center Piece...

I wish you could tell by the pictures how cool this set of LEGO creations is! Sam made his "band," including Josh on drums, Johnny on keyboard, Parker on bass guitar and Sam on guitar, and couples dancing. It is so detailed! The other one is Elisabeth singing while Daddy plays dj and the couple having a candle light dinner are Grandma and Grandpa.

Valentine's Day...

With Valentine's being on Sunday we did our little bit of celebrating on Saturday. Sam cooked us dinner, and then we had everything under the sun dipped in chocolate and stayed up and played games. It's funny when they were little we needed breaks from them but now we just all hang out together, soon enough they will be way to cool for us!

He is SOOOO cute!

Jessica and baby Adrian came to family dinner today, and I got to have long visit with him! I have to say he is the handsomest baby around! It is so fun to see him smile and hear his little noises, and even though he has grown a bunch, he is still so little. Jesse gave me this cute picture in the undershirt I gave him!

Pretty in Pink Party...

Yesterday Elisabeth and I attended the annual "Pretty Pink Party" at my aunt Becky's. It's an excuse to celebrate all the January and February birthdays in the family. It is crazy how many girls there are and when they are running around together they seem to be all the same age. Laura Jane made this fabulous cake and we all stuffed ourselves with many sweet treats!

Valentine's Parties and 6th Grade Lip Sync...

After a brief visit to William Penn today, a brand new beautiful building, and wishing my kids could go there, I returned to Parkside and remembered why I love it so much. Our kids, parents, staff and teachers are the BEST! Today the 6th grade continued the tradition of the annual lip sync. Sam's group worked really hard on The Beatles Twist and Shout! The next of group of girls was really awesome too, and many in between. The kids both made their own Valentine's again this year, and they were cute, cute, cute! And Sam reused his box from last year and Elisabeth made a HUGBOT 500. They both had a great day, now it's off to the Utah Red Rocks vs. Utah State.

About the gray underwear...

Apparently in my last post the picture of Joe (the Plumber) Plumbers crack came to the top, sorry if it offended anyone, but there is a story behind it. So back in high school Joe (miah's "little" brother) wore his pants low (you know "pants on the ground") and we teased him all the time about having to see his gray underwear. We saw the gray underwear so much that when my kids made him a Build-A-Bear for graduation they found gray boxer briefs for under its gown. Well Joe has grown up and as an adult he doesn't wear his pants so low, but once in while those gray unders still peek out to remind us he is still our Joey... So the picture is of one of those oh so Joey moments!

Ice Fishing with Daddy...

So Jeremiah just loves the outdoors so much that he was delighted to go ice fishing with his brothers, Dad and Sam. They had a good time, and the sun even came out, but ZERO fish, not even a bite. Sam was bummed, because he was planning on fish for dinner, I told him it didn't really disappoint me because then we would have to clean the fish, YUCK! When he got bored, Sam, and Jereld, went sledding.

Kitty...

Kitty has recovered nicely from his surgery, he was very lovey and quiet for a few days. The kids took pictures of him on Elisabeth's bed, he would even let them put a blanket on him. We know he is feeling better because he is back to meowing for food constantly and being a little cranky when we bug him!

So I am pretty sure that Elisabeth will be rocking 80's/90's retro look in high school! She loves leg warmers, layered socks and neon colors. These are her video clips rocking out to Taylor Swift!

Sam is still loving his LEGOs, but the other day he set up a war zone of army men in my hall.
