Better late than never.

Jamie took some absolutely adorable One-Year-Old Pictures of TJ that I just had to share. I know they are late... but better late than never right. He's just too cute.

Scrub-a-dub

Sorry about the nudity. I tried to stay "above the waistline" but the camera angle did drop there once. I thought this was so funny. He just laughed and laughed whenever I would blow the bubbles off my hand. He is such a fun kid. I'm sure glad that I get to be his mom. :)

Sure do love this kid.

And so it begins.

Branding Calves

Last Saturday we got to go out and "help" Grandpa Hamblin band some of his calves. TJ was a little infatuated with the little buggers. He was so good to let Dad or Mom work for a little while and was rewarded with a little ride on Gus with mom for his efforts. He actually did really well in the saddle with me. (It doesn't hurt that the saddle has nice leather strings for a boy to cut his teeth on either.) He even fell asleep on the way back. The horses walk was better than a rocking chair I guess. :)

Aren't they cute? I just love baby calves.

April

Well... April has come and gone and personally I don't know where it went. TJ is growing up so fast I can't hardly stand it. I'm so grateful for the ability to capture some of his moments on film/photos.
He makes me laugh on a daily basis, and makes me remember what's really important in life.
I have to laugh at this video. That grass must feel pretty weird on little legs. This is the one and only time he "crawls" like this. I love his little slips too, when he falls down then just looks at the camera and smiles.

I just really like this little face. :)

The obsession continues.  I can't get him to leave the motorcycle alone.
