Software hacks are highly encouraged to develop for SASEhack FALL 2023 as we are unable to provide resources for hardware-based projects due to our virtual environment.

As a refresher, this year’s theme is Our Resilience, meaning teams will design solutions that foster collaboration, community-building, and forming connections with others in order to tackle real world issues. Projects should stick to this theme.

Prompt #1, Mental Health: Develop a solution to promote mental well-being and support students in managing their mental health

Prompt #2, Environmental Adaptability: Develop a solution to address environmental challenges such as climate change, disaster response, resource conservation, or renewable energy.

JUDGING

Virtual Submissions:

• Teams will submit their project solutions through Devpost.

• View the SASEhack Fall 2022 project gallery for submission examples.

• Pre-recorded videos are REQUIRED and must be between 3 to 5 minutes. 

HOW TO ENTER / CREATE SUBMISSION

1. Enter the name of your hack.

2. Add ALL your team members to your Devpost submission

3. Tell us about your hack! Be sure to include any relevant images and include the video in your description.

4. Include a link to your hack

5. Submit before the deadline!

Video

Pitch your project within 3-5 minutes! Devpost accepts links to YouTube, Vimeo, or Youku. Videos may be recorded through external platforms such as Zoom, MS Teams, or additional recording platforms that your team sees fit. Please take into consideration recording/edit time when allocating time to your project and submission.

We are looking for a GitHub link to a public repository. If you are having any problems with this, you can just upload the file for submission, however, please let someone from our team know.
