About
Scene360 stands out as a tattoo magazine celebrated for its quality content and authenticity. Founded by Adriana de Barros at the start of December 2000, Scene360 is an independent arts publication. It was one of the first to merge creative disciplines like painting and film on the web.
Scene360 shifted its focus to tattoo-related content in 2010, becoming an influential voice in the field. Its goals include preserving the craft’s history and culture by highlighting iconic tattooers, parlors, and emerging artists.

Continuing its tradition of quality, Scene360 produces not only online articles but also premium print issues. The most recent, a 100-page special edition developed over two years, demonstrates a strong commitment to preserving tattoo history. This softcover presents exclusive interviews with legendary tattooers—such as Jack Rudy (presumably his final interview), Filip Leu, Junii, Kenji Alucky, and Fibs—and profiles studios, including Eddy Reyes Sr’s Secret Sidewalk Tattoos and Shane Tan’s Feather Cloud Tattoo.

Scene360 reaches 88 million website visitors and 5 million social media followers. Building on this significant audience, the magazine now directs its digital efforts primarily toward TikTok, Instagram, and Threads.

Scene360 has earned four Webby nominations and won “Best Art Website” in 2015. The magazine also holds three Pixel Awards for “Art” and “People’s Champ,” two A’ Design Award Platinums, an SXSW finalist spot, and a Lovies shortlist.

With heartfelt thanks, Scene360 warmly acknowledges past editors and contributors who have helped shape our journey: Martyn Conterio, Antony Bitel, Cathy Lo, Jenny Eng, Lech Deregowski, Ilene Roizman, Stuart Balcomb, Astrid Antonia, and Martin Popovski.
