Not sure if you're listening . . .

I feel like I need a place to write/vent/say what I am really feeling. I don't think anyone reads this blog anymore, but if you do, I hope it's okay if I just take a break from always writing about kids. That hasn't seemed to work out too well.
Obviously.
Anyway, now it will be a surprise. You may get a funny kid story. You may get my crazy musings. You may get nothing. :0)
Away we go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reading and Singing

This is a video of Abbie "reading."

We can basically decipher the beginning, but the middle is a big question mark.

Make sure you take note of all her hilarious animal impersonations (apparently she can't name the animal without the sound it makes), the burp in the middle of "Twinkle, Twinkle" that doesn't phase her, and the major ADD moment at the end.

This one makes us laugh like crazy! :-)

Addiction

Image
I have a confession to make. . .
I am so addicted to Twerpz candy. This deliciously decadent morsel is made by Twizzlers and is the perfect marriage between Twizzlers and Starburst. It's like they got together and had babies, and the babies are Twerpz because they are little, bite sized, and oh so delicious.

Normally, an addiction to candy is not a problem. We all have our favorites. However, they stopped selling Twerpz in stores.
Thus, began the problem.
I have since scoured all convenience stores and grocery stores in every town near where I live or visit. It's ridiculous. Really. If I go into a convenience store that I haven't been in, that's the first thing I check. This has been going on for some time now and I've found one store, folks.
One. In Rutherford County of all places. Where is that? I don't even know.
Guess what I did then? I jumped and partied (on the inside) and proceeded to buy ALL they had.
That was this summer, and I have rationed them out to last until now.
UNTIL NOW. . .
yesterday, my very understanding husband sent me an email link to the most heavenly website in all the world. Guess what they have? You guessed it folks. I bookmarked that page as fast as I possibly could and proceeded to order some.
If you have a candy addiction, go. Now. You'll thank me later.
