Trip to St. George

We had a great little jaunt to St. George for the weekend. Amy is going to Dixie, and we needed to see all the fun places for her to live. We saw from bad to worse, and ok to great. I think we have decided on the "great" one for her to live in.



I can't figure out how to make my pictures smaller or bigger. I think I will leave this up to you guys, (my awesome smart children) to figure out. Maybe I need lessons? Trade lessons for babysitting??? Once again, this is grandma begging.

Don't you just love our Kids? The grandkids are growing up so fast. Keep up the good work.

Happy March

I am starting early, so by the time I get this posted, maybe it will look like I'm on top of it. My kids have me beat. All my children are great at blogging, and have me beat. It is cool as a Mom, to see your children excel at things. (even if they are better than you are). I have always said, if you want to know what we are up to, read my kids' blogs.

Since my kids are the only ones reading my blog, what can I say.? "hey, call home once in awhile"? Just kidding, you all already call home. I really enjoy talking with you. Sometimes, I don't have alot to say, but it's always great to hear what you are up to.

Chad, Katy and kids: Wow, what a fun field trip. It brought tears to my eyes. What a somber experience.

Brad, Mo: Chelsea is sure a Q-T. Do you have any of those pictures? Maybe a little one for Grandma Babs?? (this is grandma begging)

Stacey, Shel: Let's see an update of the bubs. I bet he's running around keeping you busy.

Amy: Let's see an update of your life. Make your Mom and Dad a delicious dinner. Try your cooking skills out, and let's see I mean taste what you can do.

Ok, that is all the kids. My idea is to see how many of you read MY blog. It will be interesting to see who "comments" back.

MERRY CHRISTMAS and it is a GREAT new year.

We really had an awesome Christmas. Chad and his fam came from S.C. Stacey and fam. came from Clearfield, Brad and fam. came from Clearfield, Amy came from down the hall, and we ALL enjoyed a great weekend. It makes a Mom hen really happy to have all the little chicks gather round and play nice. Speaking of playing nice, we played the wii, and didn't throw it across the room once. Yea hooo. I got a nintendo DS, and my brain smarts are the same as my age. I need to work on getting down to 20, I'll settle for 21 because that's the age I really want to be. lol.

I tried to load a pic. from Christmas, but unable to. Sorry. I will get my computer expert on that task. Meantime, have a great week.

Great Weekend

Well this weekend has been great. Scott has taken off with his folks and headed down to St. George to visit with the siblings. They have so much fun when they are all together. Yea for them.

I stayed home and am having fun also. Yea for me!!

I came across some cute photos of the kids having fun when Chad and his family came over, up, whatever direction it was. Stacey & Sheldon hosted a great Bar-B-Que. We even got to roast smores over the open fire pit.

I wish Chad and his fam. lived closer so we could play more.

Well, it's late. best be signing off. Amy and I have been up to Stacey's visiting and eating Mac & Cheese. Braxten is sooo nice to share. He is way cute. His latest word is "NO" He says it even when he means yes. I hope it's just a "phase". Gotta love the "twos". Then we went over to Brad & Mo's to see how Chelsea is growing. She's soooo cute. She loves to be cuddled. I'm happy about that, I love to snuggle with her. I need to go over more often.

*(This posting stuff is harder than I thought. I have been working on this for 1 1/2 hours trying to get rid of the space after the pictures, and the next blog.

Proud Gma Babs

I thought doing a blog would be fun. I love reading everyone else's, but am having a hard time keeping up with Scott's & mine. When Chad and Katy were moving to South Carolina, they came through town to surprise us all. The best surprise I have had in a long time. Chad just showed up at my door. Katy can keep a secret after all. ANYWAY, the girls got their kids together and went and had this cute picture taken. Now, THAT was the best surprise so far. So now the challenge is out there....Top that one. Let the games begin.

Maybe this is fun afterall. If I can remember my address and password, I'm good to go. Check back often to see how I am doing.

CATCHING UP WITH THE KIDS

Well, this should be fun. "All the kids are doing it". (I have heard that all my life, either I have said it, or the kids have said it).

I see all the cute pictures of my children and their children, and wished they were ALL hanging on my wall. The pictures, not the kids. lol.

Life is great. Scott & I have started working out more. Scott is trying to get ready for ski season. I'm getting ready to shovel the driveway. Can't wait!!
