Fun Day At The Expo

Braeden and I got the chance to spend some quality time with grandma and grandpa and Uncle Brad, Aunt Leanna and cousin Lily, yesterday.  We all made the trip to the home and garden expo.  We saw a lot of neat things like a vacuum that sucks up tons of glitter and fuzz balls and has power steering.  We were able to walk around and enjoy one another's company and learn some new things.  Afterwards we enjoyed a good meal at Emmett's and Ethel's in  Lehi.  It is always such fun to get together with family and catch up.  I can't believe how big my little niece is getting.  My brother and his wife are such good parents already and I am so proud of them for all they have accomplished.  I am so grateful to have so many of my brothers and sisters and other family close by.  Family truly is a wonderful blessing! What joy it brings to know it can last past this life and into the eternities!

St. Patricks Day

We both remembered to wear green! I don't think that Scott did so he got pinched.  I bought Braeden and I matchin socks at Target for St. Patricks Day.  When I got home from work that day he noticed that our socks were the same.  He kept saying socks and putting his foot up to mine.  I feel so blessed to have him in my life.  Being a Mother is like nothing else and so worth every minute of it.  I wouldn't trade it for anything and I look forward to watching our family grow.  I am so grateful to know that we can be together for ever.  What a blessing our Father in Heaven has given us by making it possible for us to have eternal families!

Gotta Love It

I always love these silly moments! Braeden decided to climb underneath our sink in the bathroom.  I wasn't sure where he had gone but then he peeked out! He makes me laugh every day. He definetly doesn't lack in personality!

Date Night

Finally had a great date night.  They are few and far between.  We are lucky to have a great niece that loves to watch Braeden, so she helped us out.  We went and saw True Grit which by the way is awesome!! We went with some great friends and we ate at Pier 49 Pizza.  Their pesto chicken pizza is amazing! It was so fun to get out and have some time together with friends.  I am so blessed to have a wonderful husband and some great friends and an awesome son! The Lord has truly blessed me in so many and ways and I am so grateful every day for all I have.

Silly Boy

We bought Braeden a Mr. Potato Head and he loves it! He decided to be silly and try to wear the glasses.  You can see how well they fit! He is so hilarious! He makes me laugh all day.  I am so blessed to be his mother and to have him in our family.  He is the best first child and we love him so much!

Chatter box

Braeden loves to pretend he is talking on the phone.  I think I must walk aroung a lot and do things while I am on the phone cause he is doing that.  He makes me laugh so hard!

Family Fun Day

We got the opportunity, which is rare, to spend some awesome family time together! We went to the Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy.  There were some really cool fish, and cute penguins and even frogs and snakes.  Braeden had so much fun and was in awe.  Scott and I enjoyed it too and we all learned a lot.  After wards we went to Red Robin to eat some lunch and had a great time.  We even got to go visit my sister in law and her baby.  We finished off the night with a light dinner and some fun play time as a family.  It was one of the best days we have had in a long. long time.  I feel so blessed and I am so grateful to have such an amazing husband and son.  I am so grateful for the gospel and to know I can be with them forever!!

Finally

It has been a while since I have had an up and running blog.  A lot has happend so here we go. 

We were able to buy a house a little over a year ago in Eagle Mountain.  We love home ownership! It is also nice to live only a few minutes from my parents and to get to spend quality time with them.  Braeden has a great relationship with them and loves to be at their house.  Scott is still working at the Old Spaghetti Factory as a manager.  He enjoys working with people and is excited that one of his good friends is coming to manage at his store with him soon.  I am working as a substitute teacher for the Alpine School District and mostly work out here.  I love my job and the kids and its nice to be so close to home.  Braeden is 2 1/2 and keeps us on our toes. He is turning into quite the character and is so handsome.  He loves to play with his friends and talk and run around.  He brings a lot of joy into our lives and while the times aren't always easy with him we are so blessed to have him as our son. 

I am serving in the primary presidency as first counselor and Scott is the 11 year old scout leader and the teacher for the 10/11 year old kids on Sundays.  Braeden is loving his new nursery class and we are super grateful for that.  Well that is all I can think of at the moment.  I will post pics too.
