The kids had a great Halloween this year. We went to our ward's trunk or treat and later walked around our neighborhood. Grandpa Seable walked around with us which was a treat for the kids.
Jake as Mario.
Austin as Luigi.
Emma was so cute to watch this year. She loved trick or treating and she loved being a "pretty" witch.
Austin's preschool field trip to the pumpkin patch was so much fun. We had already been once before that month, but Austin had a great time. It was a treat for me to go with just Austin. He was so proud of his little pumpkin and the hayride was his favorite part. I sure love this kid!
Jake played flag football for the first time this fall. He really seemed to like it. I was a little concerned because he was one of the smallest kids on his team, but he didn't care. Aaron was an assistant coach and really enjoyed spending the time with Jake. Football sure did keep us busy from August till October.
Austin started preschool the Tuesday after Labor Day this year. He goes two days a week in the mornings. He is really enjoying it and it is helping prepare him for Kindergarten next year.
Jake had his first day of school on August 22nd. It is hard to believe he is already in second grade. He is liking school so far and I think this is going to be a great year!
Austin was feeling left out and wanted to be in the pictures too.
Austin turned 4 way back on December 28! I can't believe that my little guy is already four. He is such a cute kid and keeps me busy. We sure love our Austin!!!
Christmas morning the kids got up just before 7. I realized later that I didn't take very many pictures. But here is what I got. The lighting was bad and I didn't take the time to do an editing, but they are on the blog!
They are so excited! All three kids got sunglasses in their stockings. Jake and Emma were thrilled with the sunglasses, Austin wasn't so much. He was hoping Santa brought him some trains!
Austin didn't want to open the present that was clearly a book. I finally talked him into in and he was so excited! Santa brought him a Polar Express book. Austin loves trains and love the Polar Express movie!
Santa brought Jake a scooter.
I gave Aaron a picture of the kids for his office.
Emma loves baby dolls. I thought this doll looked a lot like her- blue eyes and blond hair.
Around 2 we went over to Caldwell to be with Aaron's family. We had prime rib, baked potatoes, salad, homemade rolls, and corn. It was delicious! I think the prime rib is Aaron's favorite part of Christmas.
Jake and his cousin, Kjari. They had such a fun time together. I just thought this picture was so cute. (Notice only the roll on Jake's plate- all he had for dinner was 6 rolls! I have such picky eaters!)
