Welcome back everyone! We took a break over the holidays, but now we are back and making stitching plans for the coming year.
I am in the middle of a yarn destash, so I haven’t thought much about my next hand quilting project, but I have a few things to work on, including some embroidery blocks for a baby quilt, so we’ll see what I settle on.
For now, though I want to show off the finished table topper I was making for my sister. I finished it and sent it off just in time for a house warming. 🙂

I quilted a grid for the white space and bound it with the charm squares left over.

The back is made of charm squares, so it can be reversed on occasion.

I am happy to say that she loves the bright colors, perfect for dreary Minnesota winters!
Now I’m off to visit the other members of our group, wont you join me?
Kathy, Deb, Sharon, Karrin, and Daisy
This Hand Quilt Along is an opportunity for hand quilters and piecers to share and motivate one another. We post every three weeks, to show our progress and encourage one another.
