cRAZY hAIR dAY

Image
Image So, Sades idea of crazy hair is putting as many things in her hair as she can. My idea is ratting my messy dry hair as big as I can, while only using one bottle of hairspray. Its a little flat because it is after school! I love fun days at school!

Fall Fun at the Cabin!

Image
Image It was beautiful up there and we made it just in time to take the kids on the annual leaf hunt. It has become quite the tradition to drive the four wheelers all over the canyon looking for the brightest and best leafs. We found a whole bunch! I made seven leaf bouquets for teachers and two school offices with them.
Image Sades is so BIG! She now can drive the four wheeler all by herself. Well, with Dad riding on the back. Mom is way too chicken and too much of a back seat driver!

Image Coltrin brought up his four wheeler. Him and Adley had a blast driving around in it. Grandpa even hooked it to the back of his four wheeler and pulled Coltrin up the water road. Once he reached the top, he would put his foot on the gas and haul butt down that bumpy road. It was hilarious to watch. I am surprised he didn't kill himself. It was great entertainment!
Image Adley love it at the cabin. She gets to play around and get as dirty as she wants. Thank goodness there is a bath tub up there!

Oh Sweet Adley

Image Evidently cereal tastes better when eaten right off the floor. Just look at the lovely the mess my sweet angle has made. I guess that's what I get for letting one year old find her own entertainment.
Image Aders sporting the hip new look for fall this year. I think it accentuates her features, like those cute chubby checks!

Coltrin's First Day of Preschool, August 29

Image
Image Coltrin first day of school was so exciting. He has a new teacher and new friends. He even has a cool backpack that he absolutely adores thanks to Riley. He thinks he is so big and I am glad he has a special place to go that's just for him. I am excited to see what he learns this year!

Image On a whim we decided to get our white trash redneckedness on and go to another Monster Jam. This time it was at the Riotinto Stadium outside. The trucks had a lot more space to move around. Coltrin got to see two of his favorite trucks, Blue thunder and Gravedigger, who is also Sades fav. Adley fell asleep about half way through. Who sleeps through that? It was fun and hot and expensive. Not to mention the fact that we stood in line for over an hour to get the signatures of the drivers. Crazy! Tickets to the jam around 70$, parking 10$, drinks because it was dang hot 15$, and two pendants to have the drivers sign 20$, and the joy you see on the kids faces as they are begging for a carnival ride on our way out of the stadium, absolutely freakin priceless!

Torrence comes to play, hooray!

Image The kids were so excited that cousin Torrence came to play. They played in the big pool and on the slip and slide. I wish we lived closer, so the kids could play more. Adley and Torrence are only a few months apart. It is cute to see them together. Torrence seems to really like Sades. We hope they come to play again!

August 19th, the first day of fourth grade for Sades

Image
Image The first day of school for Mercedes. What a stylish young lady! Does her mama have taste or what! As usual she has way too many clothes and shoes. She said she had the best day ever and that her teacher is awesome. She has Mr. Bradford this year. Her first boy teacher. I hope the year stays as good as the first day!

More summer fun at the cabin....

Image Summer at the cabin is hot but still fun. As you can tell by the pictures, the heat is exhausting and can even make you crazy! It's great to cool off on a four wheeler ride. The kids want to be on them every minute. If they aren't on a ride they are begging for one. Zeb, loves it up there, too. He runs around searching for anything that moves. By the time we get home he is exhausted. We are so lucky to have such a great place to go.

Image We went to the fair to watch Sades perform one last time with Ali. It was so sad. I know I wasn't the own crying. It is and end of something we have loved since Mercedes was only three. We have meet so many nice people and have had so much fun. After all the emotional stuff, we wandered around. We saw lots of animal, and even got to pet baby pigs and goats. Coltrin and Sades raced at a construction site, and they also got to create power by riding on merry-go-round. Adley had a great time looking at the big pigs and cows, but was sound asleep before we got back to the car. It's nice to have the fair back in town!
