Well, today marks a new era of my life. Today was the last day I used my old trusty Motorola Q phone. The Q, if anything, was a practical phone. It had many functional features that I used to the fullest throughout the 3 years I've had it. And the two games it had--Bubble Breaker and Solitaire--they really delivered every time I was bored or needed a distraction. Though Solitaire is an old favorite of mine, Bubble Breaker was the Q's brightest shining star. I played Bubble Breaker on this phone 13814 times. That's right, nearly 14 THOUSAND TIMES folks. This phone has got me through some tough times. To my Q: I'm sorry for dropping you on the ground in the rain. You never dropped my calls because of your reliable network. When no one else at the Zermatt had service, you were there for me. I'm sorry I scratched your screen over 2 years ago. I didn't realize that the bottom of my purse was such a dangerous place for you, and I certainly didn't think we'd be together this long. You've been there for me through 4 versions of the iPhone, 2 versions of the Droid, and countless other flashier phones on the market. Thanks for the memories.
But it's time for me to move on.
With some serious reservations, I'm headed into unchartered territory here with my new service provider, but I'm happy to have a shiny new phone. I am ready to fall in love all over again.
A little FaceTime, anyone?? :)
