Intense colors. The turn around and take a picture kind of early fall colors.

Along Highway 2 west of Iron River Wisconsin.

This tree in it's setting was so brilliant that I simply had to turn around and go back  and photograph it.
The colors along US 2 between Ino WI and Maple WI were fabulous. Although they have not reached peak they are well on their way.

Happy Birthday Donna

Image
Jessica came over to wish Donna a Happy Birthday.

An impromptu rendition of Happy Birthday by some local musicians who were playing in the H. Pearson Plaza. This spot is just above the entrance to the Ed Griffiths Pedestrian Pass. The entrance can be seen in the background. Thanks to the talented folks who played for Donna's birthday.

One of the members of the wedding party shared my fascination and respect for honey bees and their importance to crop pollination. She agreed to let me photograph her art and share it. Thank you to M.C.
