SizeUp für Mac

I purchased SizeUp in November of 2013 - I had to look back in my Gmail. I use it everyday and it is absolutely wonderful for managing your screens with keyboard shortcuts. I often use the vertical split screen functions so make one monitor have two windows side by side. And there is a lovely keyboard shortcut that forces a window to go to your other monitor. It is very quick and functional. Better than resizing, clicking and dragging windows!

Nice app. Does what it says. Looks good. And I love the developer. But I went with Spectacle, which is nearly identical in its basic functionality (doesn't offer margins, etc) but is completely free.

I bought this when it was first launched, and fast forward 2015 glad i did.. This is heaps better than divvy, the el capitan feeble attempt is a complete joke. What made me write this review was being delighted about how it also knows about multiple monitors, its allowed me to create a perfect workflow to keep focused with tonnes of apps open. I know better touch tool does all this stuff for free, but when i last used it it i noticed a performance impact on my old c2d.. Anyways... Simple and elegant to bring window management on par with windows 10. Nice one.

This program is much better than 10.11's split screen. Seems to work fine in it as well as 10.0. It is a great program.

When I begun to use a Mac, some months ago, I tested several window managers. SizeUp was my choice: it is a simple, well designed and stable app that do what promises. SizeUp does not bloat the system and you can even hide its menu bar icon. This app lets you define how the screen would be divided. For me, a nice setup is to use 100-0% of vertical space and 75-25% of horizontal. With this, I can use shortcuts to distribute bigger windows to left (as Safari or Together) and small ones to right (as Dictionary or Text Edit). When an application must use all screen room (as Photoshop or InDesign), there is also a shortcut to this. The only improvement I can see is to have two options regarding the center window command: one to just center the window, without any resizing, and other to resize it to a given measure. Today, SizeUp offers this two possibilities, but you chose one or other. To have both would be a good addition.
