Rise and Shout!

Scott grew up going to BYU football games but has not been in years, Jane and the kids had never gone before. He thought it would be a great experience for the kids (Miles really wanted to go too) and wanted Jane to go also. Scott bought 8 tickets and we took the whole gang plus Miles took a friend. We made a whole day of it and most of the kids had a blast. The youngest three were bored/tired at times and I would not recommend taking children younger than 8 next time.

Weather was perfect!! Clear and 68.


Jane felt a little sad because BYU was playing ISU and killed them. Scott noticed that ISU players were quite a bit smaller than BYU players. Poor ISU.

Summer was great but the 1st day of school seems to come around too quickly.

Happy Birthday

Savannah and Briggs share a birthday and Sam has his a week before. So we partied quite a bit the past week.

Ethiopians

Jane's Brother and his family are currently living in Ethiopia and had vacation leave to the States for the month. We were so excited!
We had so much fun. It was so great to see the kids play so well together.

Camping

We try to go camping a few times a year. Life is crazy busy and it's nice to relax in the outdoors.
This year we went to Andersons Cove at Pineview- we really like it because of the big shade trees and the proximity to the lake! :)

The weather was great! Cooler at night- perfect during the day. We all had a blast.

Jane's Dad

We recently learned of some health concerns for Jane's Dad.

He had surgery and we were thinking of an excuse to go see him.
A few hours after our West Fest 5k run we were looking for lunch....
We decided that we needed lunch at Subway... but not just any Subway- the one in Plymouth Utah (it's about half way). After we picked up sandwiches we figured that "since were so close we should just go up and see Grandpa and Grandma". Ha ha!
It was great to visit them.

We don't know what the Lord has planned but we hope for the best and trust in Him.

West Fest 5k

Our family usually participates in the West Fest 5k ever year. It's a pretty fun- flat race and the price is reasonable.
Miles and Lilly both ran it this year with Jane.

RAGNAR 2011

This year Jane joined the RAGNAR craze.

It's a 30 hour road trip from Logan to Park City in a van of stinky, sweaty running freaks.
It was a fun experience to run together. We are grateful that the Moellers watched our kids for us so we could do it. It was also our 14 year anniversary. What a way to celebrate- huh?
