In July we were able to go to the Stevens Family Reunion (my Mom's side of the family). The reunion was held at a resort near the Cedar Breaks in Utah. The weather was perfectly cool (not too hot, not too cold) and it rained for a little while every day. The rain didn't dampen our fun though! We found plenty to do inside when it was raining and headed out as soon as it stopped.
When we first arrived, we were greeted by this:
Saturday morning, we went to Cedar Breaks National Park with Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunt Lissa. The kids participated in the Junior Ranger Program. After they completed four activities, they were named Junior Rangers and got a badge.
We were there during the Wildflower Festival and were able to participate in those activities.
Including a bean bag toss, face painting:
And making flowers out of pipe cleaners. Notice their Wildflower Festival buttons that they got for participating in two activities.
After we got back from Cedar Breaks, my brother Doug and his family arrived. We all gathered for lunch. (My brother, Steve, and his family were already there). The cousins had a blast playing together.

On Sunday we drove to Strawberry Point. The kids and I looked for a little while, but went back fairly quickly since I was scared to death of the unprotected ledges. They still had fun waiting for Daddy, Grandma, and Grandpa to come back.

We had to drive on a dirt road for quite a while to get to Strawberry Point. It rained and hailed as we drove. Our car got a little dirty (this is actually much cleaner since we had already driving through a rain storm on the freeway by the time I took this picture):
The car looked much better after we washed it:
