My sister, Sara and her husband Ariel, welcomed their little bundle of joy on New Years Eve (well, during the day)...
Baby Ester weighed 7lbs. 13oz. and was 18 3/4 long.
She's absolutely gorgeous!
On Tuesday morning, Son found out he had to leave for Wyoming...that same day!
Talk about crazy, he had 20 minutes to pack. Along with another co-worker, they drove from 3pm Tuesday until 6am on Wednesday.
Tobie and I have had a hard time adjusting. I've stayed up until midnight, because I can't sleep without him. And yes, he's slept on the couch-but having him THERE is different...lol.
Tobie is constantly asking for daddy, and asking why he's working so much. Each time he calls, she asks "Where are you?" As soon as Son says "working" or "Wyoming," she hands the phone back to me with a dissapointed face.
He'll hopefully be back tomorrow night-so one more lonely night for us girls...
On a positive note, Tobie HAS been going to bed pretty early. We've been able to catch up on all the Nickolodeon cartoons she likes, and do a whole lot of crafts! We've also done lots of shopping and plan on decorating our Christmas tree before daddy comes home-a bit early-but I love having the Christmas spirit as long as possible!

We were young(er) and crazy in love!!! We went from an incredibly expensive wedding, to one that cost $45 at a little chapel...No witnesses, a wedding march on cassette tape, and only one picture as a souvenir...No clothes, a crappy hotel...and yet, there's no other way I would've rather had it!!!
Yes, we've been through a lot...but we've done it together! We have a beautiful daughter and a beautiful relationship...You are THE best hubby, THE best daddy, and of course, MY best friend...
