So this morning I have had the opportunity to watch my nephew! We played play-dough, coop took a bath, and we played cars!! While he was sitting in the bath I was listening to his conversation with himself and a ducky...

It was so funny! I can't even give it justice! He is the cutest little guy ever!!

Wow...

So this is just a little update on the past week! I have been struggling a little bit and I haven't been the happiest person.. which is weird because I just got my mission call! Well I was talking to my good friend Kiana today and as she was talking to me and giving me advice I have realized that this is Satans way of getting to me and trying to bring me down! It has been a hard week, well mostly just today has been really hard. I have decided that I want to go to the temple the week right after I move home, so either Dec. 19 or 20th and I was told that he was going to start working on me. I now know that this is SOO true and that he is trying to make me feel like crap and make me not be happy! Thank you Kiana for the amazing advice and for making me realize that life is so great and that no matter what, I ALWAYS have my Heavenly Father and Savior there for me!! I can't wait to go serve the people of Chile!! I am so excited and I hope that Satan knows that I am not going to let him get to me and bring me down! Its just not going to happen! :) I am feeling much better now and I am done letting him make me feel like I am not good enough and like I am alone, because I'm not!

The Guessing is Over... :)

Hey Everyone... I just wanted you all to know that I have been called as a Missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to serve for 18 months in the Chile Rancagua Mission!! I am so excited and I cannot wait! I report to the Provo MTC on Feb. 18th at Noon! I am so excited! Out of all of the guesses I had... no one guessed it and I think the person who is the most surprised is... ME! I honestly thought that I was going to be in the States, I never guessed I would go out of the country! I will be speaking spanish and I really cannot wait! It was a very long day but I am so grateful that I have an amazing family! I am glad that they could all be there for it and I am so glad that I was able to spend a lot of the day at my sisters house helping her with her kids. They kept my mind busy and kept me from going crazy knowing that my call was just sitting at my house! Then my good friend Spencer Wallin who just got home from his mission came and picked me up and we went and got Rainbows. Yesterday we starting talking about how he was going to teach me spanish and now I am really going to hold him to it!! I can't wait to learn Spanish and even more I can't wait to preach this amazing gospel! I love it so much and I know that this is what I need to do in my life!! Thank you everyone for all of your support! I love you all!

Guessing Time....

Hey Everyone... Tomorrow is a big day for me! I am meeting with my Stake President for my final interview before my mission papers go in!!! For those of you who didn't know... It was a really recent decision, made up not even a month ago that I was going to go on a mission. I have been contemplating it for quite a while and I always just pushed the thought to the back of my head saying that I just wanted to get school done and if I took a break from school I wouldn't go back, well over Conference weekend I got to go to the first two sessions of conference IN the conference center... AMAZING! There isn't an experience that compares to being in the presence of The Prophet and The 12 Apostles. It is the coolest thing I have ever experienced! I went in the the question in my head... "Does Paige need to go on a mission at this time in her life?" Well seeing how I didn't really WANT to because I just wanted to get school done I was overwhelmed in the first couple talks of the first session with the feeling that I needed to and then my good friend Whitnie who actually invited me to go with her leaned over and just simply said "Paige do you want to go on a mission?" I told her I didn't know but I was trying to figure it out. I think those simple words that she said in the conference center, and me trying to be receptive to what Heavenly Fathers plan was for me I was overwhelmed and I knew it was what I needed to do! I didn't say anything to anyone and on Sunday night I was driving back to Cedar and thinking so much about it, I talked to my sister about it and also to my good friend Kiana and they both gave me such great advice. The next day I called my mom and said "Hey Mom, what would you think if I told you I was thinking about going on a mission?" She said that it would be great but I needed to tell my dad. So later that night I called my dad and asked him the same thing and he said that he would support me and that if it was what I thought was right then he would be there for me. That Thursday I went and talked to my bishop and the following Monday I got my papers all set up. It has gone really fast but the Lord truely does work in mysterious ways!

Now its everyones turn to guess where I am going to go... I should be getting my call in a few weeks so please comment! I can't wait to hear what all of you have to say! Also thank you so much to EVERYONE for the amazing support that you have given me over the past few weeks of me making this decision. Especially to my amazing family! I love you guys so much and I will miss you so much but I can't wait to go serve the Lord with ALL my Heart, Might, Mind, and Strength! Thanks again! Love you all!!

1. I LOVE ICE CREAM! Anytime of the day or night I can be found eating ice cream! I think right now if my freezer there are like 4 difference kinds of ice cream!

2. I hate french fries... ever since I can remember I haven't liked them! What little kid doesn't like french fries??? ME!!! I don't know what it is but they just have never tasted good to me!

3. I also don't like popcorn! I would be the perfect date to take to the movie because I don't drink soda and I don't like popcorn... :)

4. I hate odd numbers... if you turn the radio up it has to be on an even number or a multiple of 5! I can't stand it when its on like 17 or something... I have to change it! I might be a little OCD!

Conference Weekend

I got to go home this weekend and be with my family for conference weekend! It was SOO much fun and it was so fun to finally be home again. I hadn't been home since before school started and it was great to be able to just spend time with them. I also was able to attend both of the saturday sessions and it was amazing!! My friend Whitnie asked me if I wanted to go to the first session then our friend Libby let us go with her to the second session. Both were VERY amazing and it is so much easier to pay attention when I am actually in the conference center but it was also great to be able to sit at home and hang out with my family all day today and watch conference! More Homecoming Fun!

On Saturday Ashlyn and I went to the tailgate party and the football game! It was so much fun but so depressing because we SHOULD have won that game! Our team did so good... if only we had a running back and some offense... but it was still great and tons of fun! Here are a bunch of pictures from it!

Before the game they pulled out the HUGE flag and it was amazing. They also had 4 F-16's do a fly over. It was pretty awesome!

We got cookie sheets for being part of "Thor Corps" and made a LOT of noise! So much that the football team actually started telling us to be quieter!

Homecoming Week!

This past week was HOMECOMING week!! It was so much fun.. well the last part when I actually got to go out and do stuff instead of studying because I did A LOT of that last week so lets hope and pray that it pays off and that I get good grades! On Thursday there was a pep rally and a BBQ where a car got smashed that was all painted in NAU's Colors (who our football team played on saturday). There was free food and just a good time all around! After the BBQ they smashed the car and then they turned on a movie and it started POURING!! They had to hurry and clean everything up and Ashlyn and I helped our good friends get all the food and everything put away, it ended with the cart falling over and tomatoes being thrown (between Jeff and I) and just a big mess. It just kept raining and we decided we wanted to play in the rain.. hence all of the pictures where we are all SOAKING wet! These are my good friends down here, they are so much fun and always can make me laugh!

On friday there was a big SMASH MOUTH concert! Haha... Ash and I got tickets and we were sitting in our seats for the first little bit and then we decided that it would be more fun down by everyone in the front so we just walked on down there and had a good old time!!

First Weeks at SUU

Wow... Sorry it has been such a long time. I gave my friend Kiana a hard time because she didn't post for a while and then I did the same thing! So a little update on my first few weeks of school as a T-Bird! Well my first week of school my mom and grandma came down and visited me and it was so much fun to have them here. They went to a couple plays and they bought me food and all that good stuff! It was good to spend some time with them! That following weekend my good friend Ashlyn and I went on a long bus ride with a bunch of other SUU students to Colorado Springs to watch out football team play against Air Force. It was a BLAST!! We lost 7-41 which was crappy but we got to meet and hang out with a bunch of way fun guys! The next week was way fun also! We did a lot of fun things including going to a bon fire! And we met some more guys! Then that weekend there was a home football game!! We actually won!!!! 38-10! First win in two years for SUU so it was a pretty big deal. It has been fun to date a lot and to hang out. I have also been doing okay at keeping up on my school work.

At about the 3rd quarter everyone started getting depressed and sad because we hadn't scored so Ash and I took this "Sad Face" picture and seriously right after we took it... WE GOT A TOUCH DOWN!! It was great!

So then we took a happy face picture!

After the game on the LONG bus ride home... 12 hours with out hardly sleeping at all!

My classes have been pretty good! I like them and I think that I will do okay in most of them. I had my first test today and that was not very fun but I made it through and we will see how I did on it!! I've made a lot of friends and I have been SOOO busy!! I haven't had a lot of free time and I have been way busy at work also. It has been wonderful! This weekend I am headed to Ephraim and I am so excited to take Ashlyn up to my "home" and have a good time! I am so excited and I will be sure to post all about it next week! That is the update on my life! I miss my family so much, I miss my neice and nephew and I hope that I can see them soon! That is the only thing I don't like about being down here is being so far away from them. I feel like I am missing them growing up and it makes me so sad.. It always makes my day when Coop calls me! I love and miss my family a lot but I am having a lot of fun down here!!
