MERRY CHRISTMAS

This Christmas we went down to Ogden. It was a lot of fun to be with our families. Candice had to work Christmas eve so we drove down Thursday afternoon, We had Christmas dinner at my grandma's house in North Ogden. Dinner was great. Also Shaunette's boyfriend Brain was in town and it was great having him there.

After dinner we went over to Candice's grandparents house in Pleasant View to play their family's Christmas's Candy Bar game. It is a wild game and looked forward to every year. Candice's cousin Allie was there, she had just got back from 3 mouths in China. It was good to see her, she had never met Emmett so this was her first time seeing him. We were almost mugged when we got there everyone want to hold Emmett.

After the Candy Bar Game we went back to my parents house to stay the night. When we got there my mom got PJ's for us. Even Emmett's PJ's matched ours.

Christmas morning everyone was tired but Emmett.

Christmas was great this year. We were so blessed from everyone.

Emmett did not know what was going on so we had to help him. Next year we will have to hold him back from opening every ones gifts.

Emmett and I got this nice back-pack, he is still a little small for it, but it will fit him perfect during the summer.

At the end Emmett just had to much fun and needed a nap, grandpa Child had the touch to make him fall a sleep.

On our way out to Candice's parent's house we stopped by at her grandpa and grandma Wall's house. They were so happy to see us. Emmett was so happy being there he smiled the whole time.

At Candice's parents we got some more gifts form the Wall's. Emmett got this plate with his name on it from is Grandma and Grandpa Wall.

We just wanted to say thank you to everyone this Christmas for all the blessing. We could not have done so well with out all the Help that we have gotten. So thank you and Merry Christmas

Emmett's Mobile

watching him grow and finding joy in the little things.

Emmett's Baby Blessing

Corey blessed Emmett Sunday, and thankfully he was a good little boy!

We are so lucky to have such wonderful families who love and support us so much. Everyone had to drive a long way up to Logan and we are so grateful they were all able to make it.

We had a dinner after at Corey's parents.

is always holding Emmett whenever she can get her hands on him.

Setting up Christmas was so much fun this year with little Emmett. He loved all of the bright Chrstmas lights and the village we set up. What an adorable son we have!!!

This is our traditional Christmas village. We get a new one to add each year. It is such a fun tradition that we started when we were first married. Corey gave me our first one for Christmas 2007.

One Year

TODAY marks one year since we have been in Logan. Time has flown by so fast!

Emmett's First Thanksgiving

This year for thanksgiving we went down to Ogden. We stayed at my parents, and then had dinner at Can's. It was a lot of fun this year. Candice and I have so much to be thankful for this year. One of the greatest things we have to be thankful for this year is your son Emmett. We thank the Lord everyday for him, he is a blessing in our lives. We also want to thank our family's for everything that they have helped us with, we could not have done it this year with out you. We want to thank everyone else for all the help and blessings this year.

Before we went down to Ogden Candice and I made treats for our families to have after Thanksgiving. Emmett was helping his mom make Pilgrims hats, he was smiling the hole time Can was holding him.

Thursday morning before the big dinners my dad and I shot couple of rounds in the back yard. It felt good to shoot my bow, it had been a while. I kept up with the old man, almost arrow for arrow. My dad shrink wrapped a tomato to the target to shoot at. It made the arrows sticky.

After moving back to 40 yards and shooting a few we moved up into the tree house, my dad had built. It has spiral stairs that go up to the tree house. The dogs love to go up into the tree house.
