Our annual hackathon is back! Sunflower Hack will return on March 13th, 2021 at 9am. Unlike last year’s hackathon, and because of the current situation, we will be hosting the hackathon entirely online on a designated Discord Server. The safety of all our participants during the pandemic is a top priority so we decided to forgo an in-person event to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

SunflowerHack2021 aims to develop its participants’ skills in team development, creative thinking, and efficiency. Participants will be given the chance to interact with each other before the event on our Discord server, which will be provided upon registration, to form their teams of 3 to 4. Each team will be given 5-hours to develop an idea based on the theme: Interaction and Communication. After all teams have presented, a few will have a chance to claim prizes in different categories.

This event does not require previous coding experience; we strongly encourage people with all levels of experience to attend. The hackathon is open to any student above the age of 18 years old. You do not have to be a Pace Student in order to participate. The Sunflower Hack Team hopes to present another fun-filled, interactive experience for all that are involved. We hope to see you then!
