This was my favorite shirt on Ethan, his orangish hair was fantastic with this shirt...I have a picture of Wilson in this shirt fishing with Nate, so when I finally could put it on Sam I thought what memory can we make in it...I didn't think it was going to be having it cut off his little body not on a sew able seam!!! Last Tuesday, around 6 am Sam had finished eating breakfast and was getting down from the table, he lost his footing and fell, it wasn't a far fall, but he landed on his arm and it snapped, he was so brave he cried or whimpered a bit I new something was wrong but didn't want to bug Nate he was heading out to work, so while the kids were getting ready for school he held it close but wasn't crying. Finally around 9am he was still babying it I held his good hand and asked him to reach for a cookie and he wouldn't so I decided to take him to Urgent Care, his sweet Dr. was gentle and kind Sam had the whole office ooooing and ahhhhhing over him, one he is so cute, and two he would tell them "my aaarmmm is broken" all with a smile, he was x-rayed still with a smile. They splinted and sent us to the ortho. Through this I still hadn't filled Nate in on what was going on, so when we were done I called him from outside his hospital and said if you are bored I have a case for you to read, he came out and felt so bad because Sam was hurt but not showing it. Anyway the ortho doesn't cast this kind of injury, so he is wrapped and slinged for the next 4 weeks. He doesn't act hurt only mad when we chase him down and take him off the trampoline, or when we tell him he can't play steamroller with the big kids. He is mastering left hand and doing well!!!

Final Egg Story!!!

We had a third egg hunt with my cousin's Gina the mom, stuffed one GOLDEN EGG with a $5, all the kids were pretty excited about that, in there backyard a bird has built a nest and laid her eggs in there grass, that mama bird is very protective, Braton there oldest hid the eggs, and decided to hide the coveted GOLDEN EGG near the mean mama!!! when the eggs were hidden the kids went running all with gold in there eyes!!! Ashtyn who is Kate's age spotted the egg first but was hesitant to grab it due to the bird, Wilson was the second to notice and they were sort of standing close, Ashtyn took her Easter bucket and threw it toward the bird to scare it away enough to grab the egg, well Wilson the Weasel snuck in behind and grabbed the egg. Ashtyn was kind and let him keep it, Come to find out Wilson could care less about the $ he just wants the GOLDEN EGG, I have taped this GOLDEN EGG back together 7 times, he loves his GOLDEN EGG. Yes we have called Gollum once or twice, I haven't seen him pet it or call it "his precious"...yet, since he found his GOLDEN EGG!!!
