You can customize the notification settings of the B/R app by choosing settings that apply to all of your followed communities or community-specific settings.

Customizing Notification Settings

1. Go to the Home tab and select the Profile and Settings icon at the top right of your screen

2. Select Notifications

3. Toggle the General notification settings if you want these settings to be applied across all communities you follow. If your notifications are active, the switch will appear in purple.

If you want to adjust the notification settings of a specific community you follow: 

1. On the Notifications screen, scroll to the Community & Team Notifications section of the page and select the desired community/team.

2. Toggle the community-specific notification settings you would like to receive. If your notifications are active, the switch will appear purple.

Known Issues:

Notifications

• Notification settings not saving correctly at the Team + Community Level, resulting in the following scenarios:
  • Not receiving the desired notifications
  • Not receiving any notifications
• Receiving duplicate notifications.
• Notifications leading to the wrong content.
• See Workarounds below for saving notification settings.

Account Information

• Users being logged out of their B/R account involuntarily. 
• No ability to change the email or phone number associated with your B/R account after initially creating it. See workarounds below for updating this information.

Personalization

• No customization for viewing followed teams and leagues on the home page.
• No ability to change the order of teams and leagues in the Following Tab.
• Logged in user losing their followed teams and community preferences in the Following tab.

Forum / Chat / Commenting

• Delay in created post appearing in Forums.
• Deleting posts/comments is not currently available in the B/R app. 
• Blocking users from your feed is not currently available in the B/R app. 
• When trying to comment in the chat of a live video/stream, the keyboard covers a large portion of the live chat.
• Android users: "Under Moderation" banner preventing you from posting in Forums and replying to comments.

Schedules

• Team schedules do not land at current-date events.

Team's Community Page

• Random and not relevant news in various tam pages.

Workarounds:

Notification Settings

• When attempting to select your notification settings, toggle the notifications you want on or off, let it sit for 10 seconds before leaving the notifications page. When you go back into your notification settings, you should see the settings you changed saved. This will only work at the General level of your notification preferences, not at the Team and Community level.

Unable to access the previous page from Forum/Comments

• To go back to the previous page after tapping into a comment, swipe from left to right to exit the comment's view.

Changing Account Information

• To change the email or phone number associated with your B/R account, please submit a request to our support team to change this information.

To reset your password, please follow these steps:

Please note: These methods are exclusively for mobile app devices (iOS and Android).

• Enter your email address and tap Continue.
• Tap Forgot Password.
• Click the Send Reset Link button.
• Check your email inbox and click the Reset Password button.
• Create a new password and Save Password when prompted.
